Both wear revealing outfits, both used magic for personal gain and their jobs turned them into Celebrities. Did Phoebe become 2009 Prue?

A self-absorbed media icon who prefers being at work moreso than her sisters. Yes, I can see why a connection would be drawn between 2009 Prue and S5-8 Phoebe. The auction house didn't contain the same publicity as Phoebe's news column, though. In other respects you might argue that Prue's situation was worse since no one at her job could recognise who Piper was, implying that Prue was living her life mostly at work as the head of the auction house.

Does anyone else find the whole Phoebe Celebrity thing total rubbish? She's a bloody advice columnist, those are a dime a dozen.
Besides, who even reads newspapers anymore? Hello, Internet!

Prue become a very rich woman, this doesn't automatically imply that she was a celebrity Unless you consider a celebrity anyone who can appear five minutes on TV, then we are all celebrities The newspaper published a lot Ask Phoebe, but a columnist rarely become famous, perhaps she was known to her readers, which is different And a columist can have a decent salary, but well away from the richness Prue and Phoebe have two very different personalities, a generous neckline isn't enought to make similar two lives

The sale of newspapers in Spain is increasing, while it's also increasing online subscriptionse Who would give up the pleasure of a cup of coffee drunk in the bar in the morning leafing through a newspaper? And too many junk news circulating freely for the web so that this'ld acquire a minimal pf authority Nowadays Phoebe 'ld be a blogger, one of the many, since they are only a few, and they are all fashion bloggers, those who have thousands of followers, and can require up about 10.000 € to a stylist for post a photo with a dress of his brand

It's already started, ladies. Magazines are abandoning print for the Internet, the Encyclopedia Britannica has likewise done so. Newspapers can be found online, as well as on paper (my local paper, the Ottawa Citizen, for example).
The Old Media (print, television, radio) has, IMO, only 30 or 40 years left. By then, the pre-Internet generation will either be dead or too old to care. IMO, by the year 2060, the only place you'll see those items I mentioned will be in museums you'll be taking your grandchildren to.

Prue had a good experienc and knowledge of the art market, her career is tied to her studies and her ability Phoebe had the gift of being involved in people issues, even before developing her empathetic powers: give advice to people was the perfect job for her Both have had the chance to play a suitable job for them, for which it was required very different qualities They never were celebrities, only in Jason Dean's dream Phoebe was it If you believe they were wearing revealing outfits , come a few days in LA,so you will see what is meant as "revealing outfits!

Who is the friend that Phoebe lost in Mortality Bites puzzles me. The only person I can think of is Elise, she did have a bond with Phoebe. Your right grannycharmed it is Elise who Phoebe lost which you see in the season 9 comics when that revisits the Morality Bites storyline again. But keep in mind that that's just the comics which are official fanon, not canon, so the true answer is we don't know. I've seen fics where the friend was Paige...and actually like that idea better - since I can't see Phoebe as an advice columnist in the Morality Bites timeline - the last thing that Phoebe (or any of those Halliwells) would want to do is help people - they were even more selfish and self-centered than S6-8 Piper and Phoebe. Although I love the story that's set up in the comics (actually my favorite issue of the comics), I can't see that as being what happened in the original timeline.
