Having trouble finding a specific song...

My apologies on posting here if this is the incorrect thread, but I was desperate! I'm brand new and I have no idea how this all works. However, I do have a question about music featured in Season 1, Episode 5, titled "Dream Sorcerer".

The song in question is at the 9:00 minute mark. It sounds a bit like Sheryl Crow meets Sarah McLachlan? The only lyrics that I can make out are:

"Set your sail out in the rain(?)... Wishing you'd walk out the door... I know it's true, I know it's true..."

Since the dialogue between Piper and Phoebe overlaps over the song, I can't really quote the lyrics properly. I am hoping that someone here has a clue as to what the band/singer/song is. I just hope that it isn't something the composer wrote, oh my goodness... I know how much of an absolute nightmare it can be searching through catalogues of themes and jingles!

Oh no... that's not it, I'm a little gutted. I do like Garbage though. I'm starting to think it's one of those songs that play in a movie "coffee house". All in all, thank you for your reply and the time you took to help me. I'll pray on it, I'm a music bug. I just wish the ending credits were a bit more comprehensive for each episode. I love supporting musicians... shame I can't find it.

It doesn't sound like it was composed for the show, but it's too faded to hear the words, and without it, it's hard to look up lyrics.

You can find songs from Charmed here, but they only show the main songs featured in episode. The one you're talking about is just "background" for the scene.
