Pick 2 powers!
Preferably - select 1 original Charmed Power and 1 Secondary Power and tell us why and how you would use them?.
I haven't included Paige's Whitelighter powers and have included them in another poll. (Strictly witch powers only)
Also, assume that you have a good control over your powers.

I went for Molecular Immobilization and Astral Projection. Freezing time would be so much fun and Astral projecting would allow me to go anywhere I wanted.

I stuck with only one, and that would be telekinesis. Of the sisters' powers, TK has been my favorite because it's most useful for me. While Piper is my favorite, I have no need for her powers. I don't want visions. That's a mess, same with empathy. It's just not fitting for me. Levitation doesn't do it for me. I guess secondary would be astral projection. But telekinesis is the only one I feel that would be most beneficial for me.

So it seems Prue's powers are the most popular here then with Piper's freezing thirdly.
Well I'd have astral projection to go anywhere and then freezing if didn't have orbing to make sure I wasn't late for anything and to save anyone from oncoming trouble otherwise.

I agree with West. So love Telekinesis and Astral Projection. Very cool powers! Im with you guys on this one. Who in the world would want Piper's power to explode things. Seriously I would accidentally get mad - and risk exploding somebody knowing me. If it were my younger self - Exploding and damaging a building to avoid going to school or work is tempting. Freezing would be great too but not essential to every day life. I wouldn't want Empathy. No way I want to feel people's emotions - I would go crazy. Astral Projection is so good to use to get places. Telekinesis would come in handy. Given my age those two are quite easy to use and make life easier for me going into my golden years. These two are truly essential for everyday life in my eyes. |

I only picked telekinesis and I still would have picked it if Paige's powers were in the mix, because that's my favorite powers and the one I have wanted since long before I heard of Charmed.

Molecular Immobilization and Astral Projection. Freeze anything and be anywhere? That would save so much money and time, it's not even funny. The only other one I may want is telekinesis, but I'm not fighting demons here so I went with the ones that make more sense to my life.

I would've voted for Piper's (I love them) but they are very fictional. So I voted Telekinesis, as there are people who have developed this hability for real (not in the magical kind of way of course!), It would be quite helpful to have it.
As for premonitions, I'm not sure I'd like not only see but feel everything. My nearest experience to Phoebe's power was an awful mayday dream I had several years ago (I was 16), I still remember standing next to the burning plane. Sadly this happened right the next day, I found out while I was watching the afternoon news and every detail of the plane accident was accurate to what I dreamed. I kinda felt guilty at the beginning for not doing anything, but how could I know? I was just a teen having a nightmare, not actually seeing a future event and even knowing it's not like calling the airline and telling "hi guys, your tomorrow's --- flight bounded to --- is gonna crash, any holiday deals to Aruba?". Thanfully nothing like that has happened to me since then, at least not that clearly depicted. So, premonitions, thanks but nope!

I chose Astral Projection. I've done that before and it's pretty cool, but you can only watch, you can't do anything. If you could develop it so you could truly be in two places at the same time, that would *so* come in handy - I could stay in bed while my AP went to work for me!

Ahhh!! How did you do that? I tried before, but after awhile I began to felt prickly and so I gave up. Well, it's best not to do it yourself, but have a friend do it. She'd hypnotize me and then talk me through the steps. She'd also watch over me and pull me back if things started to go wrong - which can happen - so that's why I truly suggest you do it with someone who knows what they're doing. My friend, who is a New-Ager, took a lot of classes in such stuff, so she really did know what she was doing. And we had so much proof that I was truly there and not just imagining it, it was amazing. The best one was when she told me to go find our friend in Wisconsin (we live in Minnesota) but when I felt for her (you feel a tingly in a certain part of your body) and followed it, I found her in Chicago visiting a friend I've heard of but never met and never seen before - and I had no idea that our friend was going to Chicago. I described her to the friend who was watching me, including what they were doing and what they were wearing. Later, when we had a chance to talk with that friend from Wisconsin, she verified everything I saw... And she later showed us a picture taken of them in Chicago - exactly what I'd described! It was pretty eerie, but definitely cool. |

Astral Projection and Telekinesis for me too. Those not only appear to be popular but do seem to work well together. I think everyone should have empathy but it should be strictly personal, so I agree with Granny Charmed. As for Piper's power I am in agreement there to. I'm an Aries that is the primal fire sign that both creates and destroys. No way I do well with that one.
Wow ...Es, really? Outstanding! I have had people tell me that they have astral projected but you seem to have a lot to back it up. I am not only impressed but envious. I thought I did it once, but I can't prove it wasn't a dream. I had left the Bay Area to help my mother in FL. The day after she died I had fallen asleep on the couch and I suddenly found myself back in the city. I was with people I didn't know and was trying to tell them that I really wasn't there but in FL. I wanted to give them my phone number so they could call me. That would have been my proof, but .... no matter how I tried I couldn't get the words out. Generally in dreams I have no trouble making conversation. I have no way to know if this really happened, but you do. Amazing.....
