Well, Linda, I've never even heard of those books.
Mind you, Science Fiction and Horror are more my thing.

Except Twilight which you hate Tim anyway my fave books are anything by classical novelists like Jane Austin, TS Elliot, Catherine Cookson and other such authors because I love period novels.

I never saw Twilight as horror. From what I gather, it's more a Romance/Fantasy thing.
Of course, I don't know much about it, perhaps fans of Twilight can present a more accurate picture.

Not reading in now, but it's the only book I have read three times. You just have to check out Dean Koontz's Midnight. Warning: You might end up fearing your computer. Oh, if the first few pages don't grab you by the neck, well - I must not know a good read.

I'm currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Interesting, yet difficult read. My favourite book however is Dracula by Bram Stoker

Huum. I will say the books of Rick Riordan. This guy just know how to make good teenager character, not Mary Stu or Gary Stu. Just teenager, who aren't perfect despite being demi-gods for most of them. He know how to make them deep characters. Plus, RR can mix modern world and mythologic, supernatural together so well. He's one of the first writer I ever follow, and I don't regret it. Then, I loved read books like La Nuit de Valogne of Eric Emmanuel Schmit or La Controverse de Valladoid for my French class.

My favorite of all time is The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory. I've owned like 3 or 4 copies. It's my comfort book. Whenever I start getting the desire to read I often go back to it. I even have a regular snack to eat with it, a plain ham and cheese sandwich (or 2 depending how hungry I am) and Lay's plain ruffle chips. If I'm going to eat that I have to read my book with it and if I start to read it and get hungry I crave my regular snack. It's weird I know lol
