I know Leo and Piper get divorced in season 6 at some point, but I also know the end up together in the end of season 6. Do they remarry so they are no longer divorced?

Did they ever legally divorce? We saw Phoebe and Cole's divorce, but I'm not sure if Piper and Leo ever actually divorced or if they just weren't together for a while and Piper was cheating on him, because she felt their marriage was over.

I was under the impression they were *never* legally married. Didn't Piper forge Leo's birth certificate. Technically they probably still got legally married but that happened after Piper forged Leo's birth certificate wouldn't it - *but* I dont think they ever got legally divorced - as far as I can tell dears - they just separated.

I think they were only separated
After all, their marriage was something as the Catholic marriage of conscience, binding because it's a solemn promise made in front of a God you believe in

Their marriage was legal in the eyes of the witch circle because of the hand fasting ceremony they done whether it was outside that because it wasn't done in a proper registry or church and the fact Leo was dead then I don't know as we never saw certificates although Piper said she wanted to make it legal in terms of them divorcing season 6.
My guess is that they were separated then and were going to divorce but things got in the way like Chris getting them to hunt demons down and finding out Wyatt turned evil for instance and trying to save him there focused Piper's mind on those types of things more than what was going on between her and Leo at the time which she forgot about perhaps or just left alone afterwards not doing anything more about it especially when Piper got pregnant so when they both got back together at the start of season 7 they were still married then.

Yeah they mentioned a divorce, but then it was never mentioned again. I guess you could say that perhaps they were in the middle of the process, but then got back together anyway.
Unfortunately this is one of the prime examples of what was wrong with the way they handled this in season 6. Bringing Brian back as a regular, they tried to play out the consequences to a storyline they never actually went through with... because he hadn't gone anywhere!
If Brian wanted to come back, I honestly think they should've stuck to their guns and made him wait. You could bring Leo back for Wyatt's birthday in "Courtship" and you'd lose absolutely nothing (unless you loved watching him follow Chris around I guess.)

We didn't need Leo in every episode. It was terrible to have him around the house and they should of made Brian wait. Leo should of left at the end of the 2-part opener to resolve where Leo got sent by Chris and then been gone until Courtship of Wyatts Father. Perhaps if you must, he can make 1-2 cameos between then speaking to Chris briefly on updates and such at the top of the city bridge. But season 6 would be way better off with Leo gone half the time. He served no purpose until Courtship onwards really.

I don't think there was ever a formal divorce. If papers were never filed by either Piper or Leo, then the marriage never ended. They just got back together and that was that.
I wonder how the season would have played out had Holly not been pregnant.

He served no purpose until Courtship onwards really. Even after that, would've been totally okay with him being killed off or being recycled for killing Gideon. The show became Leo and Piper and the issues their relationship is going through rather than Charmed after season 4. It wasn't too much noticeable in the earlier seasons but later, it felt annoying, repetitive and then there was Forever Charmed. The last scene ending with Piper and Leo made it appear like Charmed had always been about them rather than the sisters. And even with Leo gone for half season in season 8, everything unfortunately was still about him. And also there's this: I'm scratching my head trying to figure out when exactly Leo has been such an immense help that the sisters simply can't normally operate without him giving a few encouraging words. 99 percent of the time, he orbs Up There to check with the Elders and then comes back to say the Elders have no idea what you're dealing with

Urgh, I forgot about the "We're helpless without Leo" stuff in 'Oh My Goddess'. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for appreciating the work Leo does, but you don't need to make the sisters look like hopeless whiners in order to do that. Thanks 'Oh My Goddess'!

After Kern seized power, misogyny was really ramped up to eleven on Charmed. Most powerful witches on Earth, yeah, but they're still weak and helpless women, who need a big strong man to protect them Kern and his writers really needed to figure out that it was no longer the 1950's.

I guess, they never got really divorced, yet Piper wanted it at some point but it never happened for sure. Since they were still together, so they don't need to remarry again.

I think I recall Piper on a date, and her date asked, when her divorce was going to be finalize, and she didn't really give him an answer. I don't think Piper & Leo are legally married, in the eyes of law. But, they are through magic. Don't quote me on that, though, I could be wrong. EDIT: But, let's say they are legally married, in the eyes of the law. As a married woman, myself who was trying to get a divorce and then recanted it, you can still be married, even if you're separated. Divorce courts likes to take their sweet time with that stuff
