I wanted to take a moment to inform everyone about a staff promotion. Please welcome StoryGirl83 as the Fan Fiction Moderator!The Cafe administration has been working to revamp the forum, and one of the biggest areas of change has been to redo the Fan Fiction section. With the help of StoryGirl83, the Fan Fiction board has been rearranged with new categories. She is working on story indexes and moving Fan Fics to the appropriate boards. This is a work in progress. And we're very excited to see new stories, new readers, and hopefully some contests. This new structure should hopefully make finding fics easier. And new/more categories might inspire people to want to fill the boards with more works! Again, I'd like to take the time to congratulate StoryGirl83 and welcome her as the newest Staff member of The Charmed Cafe. She has been a valued member of The Cafe for many years. And her passion for Charmed and writing is perfect for this new role. We are pleased to have her as our Librarian!   As an aside, we are not hiring staff. The Fan Fiction section was in need of an overhaul and someone to take care of it. The forum does not warrant more staff as we are a small group of Charmed lovers.  |

It was a good idea, StoryGirl was a backbone in Destined, the Library'll have an enthusiastic librarian
Thanks to the Cafè staff also, it was a complex job to reorganize the site, now it's pleasant and colorful
AW is right, we have what we need to carry on our talks and welcome new memebrs

I miss Destined. I wish that someone would at least unlock it, take it out of maintenance mode and let us have access to all the threads over there, but I don't think anyone with the ability to do that is still around. We lost some incredible writers with the loss of that site. Exactly so. The staff we have here does an excellent job and I am honored to be included in that number now.
This is going to be so much fun. I hope that you guys love stories as much as I do, or even half as much. I have a lot of plans and I hope that all of you will get involved in the events I have planned. If you aren't writers yourself, please support our fanfic authors here by reading what they have written and giving them feedback. We writers love to hear what people think of what we write. |

I am working on indexes, but given the number of fics involved it will take a while before they are ready to go. I figure if you can find older fics on the topics that most interest you and by the authors you most enjoy it will encourage people to read more of the fics and not just the most recent ones.
So that is one thing that you guys have to look forward to, an easier way to find new fics to read. I have several indexes planned, whereas last time at TCS, I only had two. The first one is nearly ready and although I haven't had a chance to read all of the fics included in it, there are some very talented writers in this index and I will be making sure I have some time to read several of these fics later this year when I have things a little more organized. It's a youtube channel. I feel in love when I saw YGS because people are terrible at Grammar. I like that he calls it out!
