At least 84 people have been killed in Nice young children included after a truck ploughed into them whilst celebrating Bastille day last evening.
Authorities reckon it was a terrorist attack believing the driver to be a 31 year old Tunisian man who was known to French Police as a criminal but not a terrorist then.
He was shot dead on site subsequent to getting out the vehicle.
My thoughts and preys go out to everyone the people injured and affected there.

I live right next to Nice, so this hits home a little too close. These terrorists attacks now feel all too real, it's horrible.

Our government reckon some British nationals may have been involved there. Hopefully they are alright.

No they can't unfortunately and whatever they or other countries try to do against terrorism doesn't seem to have any affect right now.
Hopefully that'll change soon anyways.

I never thought I'd say that, but I can see why Donald Trump is starting to appeal to a lot of people with his ideas of keeping Muslims out of the U.S. Attacks like this are only going to strengthen his campaign, IMO.
Many are saying that attacks like this are driving more and more voters into Trump's camp. And, frankly, I can't blame those voters. They see what's going on in France and don't want it happening in the U.S.
As for how to stop this, well, aside from kicking every Muslim out of Europe (an idea that is getting more and more support because of attacks like this), I have no idea.
While I don't agree with Trump's ideas, perhaps Muslims just don't belong in our countries. Maybe we're better off living apart.

As if this isn't enough a military coup in Turkey have taken over Istanbul and are now running the country apparently.
All airport flights have been closed and two bridges going in and out have been shut down due to gun fire being reported there.
The government say they still run Turkey and that the coup will fail but if they succeed then there could be civil war there ultimately.

And in Russia, you've got Tsar Putin thumping his chest, dreaming of building a new Russian Empire.
You've got China bullying its neighbours and wanting the South China Sea all for itself.
And let's not forget Kim Jong Tubbo and his vows to reignite the Korean War.
I've always felt that World War III was going to happen before this century ended. Heck, now it could happen before this decade ends!
