Based on my earlier polls asking about each season, now a spin-off on each sister. So wondering about Piper Season 1.
What was your reaction towards Piper during Season One the first time you watched her in the season and what is your reaction to her during season 1 today? Just choose one choice.

Well my answer is still love her. Piper in season 1 was just such a fun and decent character. I know many hate what she became later on - but young and innocent Piper still warms my heart to this day.

I liked her at first, but now I love her. She's hilarious this season, and her neuroticism is so endearing. She's strong, too. She manages the restaurant with a very capable attitude. She's more confident than I remembered the first time around.

I'm assuming that you're asking what we thought of Piper in Season One when we first watched it and what we think of Piper in Season One now, as compared to what we now think of Piper overall.
I loved her this season and absolutely loved her with Leo, but loved her more with Mark.
And that hasn't changed one iota. The reason why I dislike her so much through most of the rest of the series (Season Five an exception, not counting 'Oh, My Goddess!' which I count as part of Season Six) is because I love her so much in this season.

I liked her even if she was too doubtful and rely heavily on Prue
She grew a lot and, being the older sister, tried to be oon top of it...in her own, sweet way
Then I start to love her, a neurotic tiger!

You know my issue with Piper is that I never bought her as this powerful witch who wanted to be one too. This is my feeling from the first time I watched the series, so before she got all whiny about having a normal life. I liked her character in season 1 (of course, knowing what will happen kind of tarnished that), but I am still not convinced when it comes to the Charmed One Piper.

Loved season 1 Piper. She was so likable and not what she later becomes. I liked her and found her so hilarious. Love her in 'Is There a Woogy in the House?' while in the kitchen when things go wrong in the manor. Classic Piper!!!

In my re-watch of S1 with our weekly rewatches on the board, I'm really loving Piper so much, she gets the best lines.

![]() YES, YES, YES! Season 1 Piper is my favorite Charmed character bar none! Innocent Piper is the best character! She's adorable, sassy and love her charm. She has some of the best lines and love her innocent personality, why couldn't this Piper stay this way through the whole show? Piper and Mark at my OTP when it comes to charm and much prefer them over late season Piper and Leo, but season 1 Piper and Leo are my favorite couple in the whole show! Innocent Piper is the best Piper, nobody can deny it! Absolutely I adore her in this season as a Piper fan! Also I miss Piper's late 90's bangs, I loved Piper with bangs! ![]() |

Having re-watched and finished S1 with the re-watch with the board. I still very much love Piper in S1. She's just so loveable, and I love all her subplots at Quake and her one-liners.
Some of the best ones are in 'Is There a Woogy in the House?' she brings the humor, with so much scariness going on.

I liked season 1 Piper the best. She was so sweet and insecure, which made the sarcastic quips she made once in a while more funny. From season 2 onwards she became so cynical and grumpy, very much like Holly, I suspect.

Still like her.
Unfortunately, for S1 Piper, I feel like she got the short end of the stick, as both Prue and Phoebe got WAY more screen time than she did. Hell, I even think Andy has more screen time than her LOL
Anyway, she's fairly tolerable, in S1 but suffers from being in the background, a lot.
