Notice a pattern, it seems every season another female writer leaves, most likely challenging Kern and his team, and them off they go next season, and replaced by a back-up writer the following season who returns to the show.



Its very interesting to see how the writing staff changes season to season. I found this little research fun to get a true picture of when things turn bad.

Anderson stands out cause she wrote the girls beautifully and we have to give where credit is due cause if it wasn't for Connie there would never be a Charmed so Connie Burge is my second pick. So that are my answers.

Looking at the list. Oh man, did so many writers keep leaving every single season. I can see why Brad Kern couldn't keep people on staff. He must of clashed with everyone. So many good writers left even after season 1, anybody know why? The show lost some wonderful people who wrote some great stories during season 1 through 4. This is very interesting facts to see. I appreciate this being brought to my attention.

It makes you wonder how the series could of been like had they just kept some consistency with keeping a majority of the writing staff who started during season 1 through the entire series and not just Brad Kern. We might have had a much more enjoyable series.

I give credit to Connie for coming up with the idea but not for writing - I'm not all that nuts on the ones she wrote, just like I'm not nuts on the ones Brad Kern wrote. The funny part about it is that I *do* like the ones they *both* wrote together.

So that's why I didn't vote for Connie.

I picked Zack Estrin & Chris Levinson and Tony Blake & Paul Jackson (because they wrote the first episode of Charmed I saw). But Sheryl J. Anderson wrote some great ones too.

I see much love for Edithe Swensen dears on here. I forgot what episodes they wrote, and looked at the list and saw they departed after only one season. Not that crazy about the episodes they wrote, but most here must like the writing style they did.

I'm also surprised she got that many votes. Although maybe it's because although she only wrote three episodes, 'The Wendigo' and 'The Fourth Sister' and 'When Bad Warlocks Turn Good', she was story editor for a lot of good S1 ones (including ones that are):

I agree dear with all of this. I must say now I am curious about story editors. We can easily do a poll for those and pick.

Zack Estrin & Chris Levinson being everyones best writers I can agree with. They did produce some standout episodes.

She edited some wonderful episodes. Her overall Charmed resume is impressive. Now I regret voting for Javier Grillo-Marxuach over her in the other thread for which writers should of stayed.

Well, I was shocked to learn that Brad Kern was the only writer to stay until the end. So strange how many kept leaving every season. But with how many plot holes we got, Brad Kern had nobody else to remind me of the errors. It's all on him. *sigh*

Even though I wasn't that big a fan of Brad and Constance, they wrote one of my favorite episode's Secrets and Guys (my first episode of Charmed) but it isn't enough to vote for them.

So I'm voting for Zack Estrin & Chris Levinson & Sheryl J. Anderson, because half my favorite episode's were written by these writers.
