Me too. Piper and Phoebe were the two sisters I less liked during the latter years being how different they'd changed of course.

The whole Dan thing always rubbed me the wrong way as it made Piper seem like a cheater and Leo bugging into a relationship of his charge. I'm surprised the elders even let him see Piper again, clip his wings and regain them again after keeping them apart in season 3. I like the couple better in there and last liked them up until baby first demon. After that it bickering and divorce. After that will they ever be together or will their magical destinies keep them apart.

I like the couple better in there and last liked them up until baby first demon. After that it bickering and divorce. After that will they ever be together or will their magical destinies keep them apart. I think that sadly is just what happens when a show runs too long. You can only take a couple so far before things get boring or they start to just not be as interesting. I'm really surprised they so happen to just not keep them apart more. Maybe the Elders should have taken Leo away much longer, instead of giving him back to the sisters straight away or letting him have his wings after only a few episodes. Maybe even, the price for getting his wings back was he and Piper had to split up or Leo realized that as much as he loves Piper, his job is more important. Sometimes the best love stories are ones that don't last long. Because its more fun imagining what could have been, than leaving them together and getting bored with them because a show keeps going on, and you can only do so much with a couple before they dry up of content. Maybe this is why whitelighters just shouldn't be involved with charges or start families. Because it hinders the job to look out for charges and innocents. Of course, their own families will get in the way. Leo already had his mortal life and that ended when he became a whitelighter. The reward for his old life was coming back and being able to help others for his service as a mortal before he died, that is already a gift. Yet he got another shot at a normal life again. And I feel he got off too easy, as did Piper.

S2 Piper, I just get annoyed at, but outside of relationships, she is fine. I wished she didn't see her future, as that wouldn't have impacted her and Leo's relationship moving forward. I'd wonder how things play out for her and the love triangle if she didn't see her future with Leo or her daughter.
I hated the love triangle and wished we got more of Piper as a character.
Phoebe might be the only sister I actually liked from Season 1 right through into Season 3 before 'Sleuthing With the Enemy'. Prue and Piper had moments I didn't like them during Season 1-3. But love all three in Season 1 starting with The Truth is Out There.

Honestly if you take out the Love triangle plot Piper's fine in this season. Most of her flaws this season could be contributed to typical love triangle plots. Outside of that though? She's still the mediator, she's still the middle sister. Like she started developing some snark here and there, but mostly was the same from season 1, abet less cool. Prue and Phoebe do overshadow her, but she still gets episodes like Awakened, P3 H20, Morality Bites and Astral Monkey. Plus it's not like Piper cheated on either of them. She broke up with Dan and let him know she had feelings for Leo, it's just the frustration of a love triangle in general. In fact one of the best scenes and Piper moments in the show is during the beginning of Apocalypse Not where she's chasing one of the Four Horseman. youtu.be/En1L8yMeMts?t=47 It's a small thing, but I liked it because it showed how Piper still cared about the means of her being a witch, even if she was the most resilient their duties. And how could anyone forget her wonderful moment at the end of Astral Monkey? www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdCt559fmlc&t=25s One of the best scenes and Piper's most human moment in the whole show. Personally if you take away the love triangle drama Piper's still great this season. Not as strong as Season 1 Piper (especially Dead Man Dating), but still great. Bottomline, while sidelined compared to Prue and Phoebe she's still good in this season. It's just anything involving the love triangle plot was bad. I still love that ending scene of Astral Monkey to this day. One of the most powerful moments in the show next to Piper's grief over Prue.

Piper isn't as innocent as she was Season 1, but she's still great here. I didn't enjoy her during the love triangle drama, but if you take that away and episodes where Dan is absent she's still Piper. She's not letting her personal life dictate her wiccan duties, she's not sniping at Leo she's just not as innocent. But I still love Season 2 Piper. She gets some great snarky lines and good moments. Are people going to forget about the ending of Astral Monkey? (Agreed with Codebox) youtu.be/gdCt559fmlcIt's pretty reflective of early Piper and Leo her line of "saving lives was more important than personal life" hint why she let Leo go in Love Hurts. Then there's the beginning of apocalypse not where Piper, despite being the most resistant of being a witch (which also aired after How to Make a Quit Out of an American where she walked out) still obliges by her witch calling and chases one of them down. It's one of my favorite Piper scenes. youtu.be/En1L8yMeMts?t=47 (Again agree with Codebox) She's no Season 1 innocent Piper, but she's still great this season! Especially when she picks Leo and afterwards Dan is the one who comes off as unlikable.

Personally I feel Piper is watchable in this season. This would fit into my quota of unpopular Charmed opinions but I think Season 2 Piper is her second best (get it season 2?) persona of the character. While none of them top season 1 Piper I feel people don't give her any credit for the strong moments she does have in this season, allow me to explain the good and the bad, but why I find her enjoyable. I won't explain the entirety of the love triangle and anyone who's willing to explain fully about the context why its bad or its worst moment I'd be interested to know. I'd say sometime after The Painted World when Dan becomes a central part and she forces both Dan and Leo into a "choose me" situation was really bad, especially when she makes a direct response about Leo being the one her heart belongs too when she got Oroya Fever, yet Dan is along for the ride anyways. Especially that scene in Ex Libris where she catches Dan fighting Leo at P3 and still has Leo "face the drama" of the situation anyway. However where I do think Piper did the right thing was letting Dan know Leo was the one she wanted, let him off easy and stayed with Leo, which was at the point where Dan becomes unsupportive and suddenly unlikable. Weather or not Piper should've chosen Dan over Leo is all down to preference (I do agree Dan would've given her the normal life she wanted, I still think Dan not accepting Piper as a witch was only written in as a last minute decision simply to make Piper and Leo the end game) Regarding looking past her love life and what do you have? She still cares about innocents or at least takes them into consisderation. And I know she has that infamous moment in " How to Make a Quilt Out of an American (seriously? that title still baffles me) where she just wants to stop being a witch altogether and her complaining starts to become her defining feature, however Piper does note that its because she's tired of seeing many people die around them and has that scene in the end that she'll always be the most resistant in being a witch and will only stop if Prue and Phoebe consent as well, she's basically taking their feelings and opinions of their witchy duties into consideration. Compare this to say "Witch Way Now?" Where her entire basis is made up and is willing to pass judgement on their witch lives being gone completely taking Paige's consent out of the equation. Not to mention Piper's still mousy, but she's obviously developing more sarcasm in a way that's not detatched from everything around her. She still has the perfect balance of a normal life vs witch life.. I mean when I still see scenes like the ending of Astral Monkey www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdCt559fmlc ( which I deem to this day as the best ending in a Charmed episode and Piper by far had the best greiving moment and self reflection compared to anything in the show, its such a great scene for a once peacful character) I can't see a completely unlikable character.
I may like Astral Monkey more than most, but that's because its ending is like Morality Bites for people, Piper's rant to Prue and Phoebe over how Dr Williamson's situation directly contrasted with her's and Leo's in the fact saving lives was more important was the kind of self awareness she needed and is a shame is never referenced for fallback on Piper when she screws up (why wasn't he one of the guilt zombies for Piper in Death Becomes Them?) Then there's this moment in Apocalypse Not where upon first glance of one of the Four Horseman is to instantly chase him down so he doesn't cause trouble, it might be a brief scene to people, but why I love it is because of context. The most hesitant and resistant sister in being a witch gives into her calling and goes after them before even knowing who they are. Since when does Piper spring into action upon seeing danger a first glance? That's why I love that scene! Then of course her mousiness in The Painted World, especially when being chased by the fire and disliking personal gain consequences. Bottomline while I certainly can't excuse her actions toward Leo and Dan I certainly think any moment that isn't related to them more than makes up for that, I can't call Piper dislikable in this season because of the positives I've mentioned.

I still hate Piper, in S2.
Even without the love triangle nonsense, her first moment, in the season is shacking it up with a banker, whom we NEVER see, again. Really making me agree with Phoebe, here, regarding Piper just using the poor man, for money.
Next, Dan is just an outlet for Piper's quest, for "normalcy". Even without Leo, Dan will STILL be this "sense of normalcy", for Piper. She doesn't REALLY love Dan. AND, he probably would still reject her because she's a witch. With or without Leo. Piper and Dan are just not meant to be!
In S2E12 "Awakened", SHE'S the reason she got sick and SHOULD'VE died. Piper cheated her way into opening up the club and cheated her way into getting cheap fruit, into her club.
Even if Leo wasn't a love interest, the way she treats him especially regarding P3 in S2E4 "The Devil's Music", she gets unreasonably upset. I get she's supposed to be the anti-magic one, but this was a bit excessive.
S2 Piper is the sole reason it's HARD for me to watch S2. Thankfully, she's no longer a favorite of mine, and I can watch S2, at peace, since I watch it, for Phoebe, who absolutely ROCKS, in this season!
