Based on my earlier polls asking about each season, now a spin-off on each sister. So wondering about Phoebe Season 2.
What was your reaction towards Phoebe during Season Two the first time you watched her in the season and what is your reaction to her during season 2 today? Just choose one choice.

I have no fault in Phoebe dears during season 2. This is the season I feel where all three sisters are likeable - but a few things on Piper I disliked but more on that in Piper's thread. Loved her then and still love her now for this girl.

Season Two Phoebs, like Season One Phoebs, continues to be my all-time favorite character, and I love her more each time I watch it. So I voted still love.

Agreed. I still love Season 1-2 Phoebe. In fact, the more I rewatch the show, the more I realise how annoying she became once Cole came into the picture.

Agree with everyone. Phoebe season 2 is still loved as she was a decade ago.

Still love her, Phoebe is my favorite sister. She is such fun in season 2 with how much she loves magic.

Phoebe is so amazing in S2, even more than 1 especially the lesson she gives us all about protecting the innocent.

Love Phoebe in S2 so very much. Like Prue, I love her in the entire season. Piper, I only hated with the love triangle.
I love Phoebe and how much she enjoyed protecting the innocent and her love of magic. Her relationship with Prue and Piper. But mostly watching her and Prue grow closer is so much fun.
It's too bad this is all lost from S3 onwards.

In my first watch of Charmed Phoebe shot her way like a star to the position of my favorite sister with season two and kept that spot until partway through season three, after which Prue took over and remains my favorite. But I absolutely adore season two Phoebe and I will forever be salty about how her character degraded so much afterward. (Season three Phoebe is still pretty good, even though I wish the show had went a different way to reflect how much she'd matured over the first two seasons.)

Phoebe was such a star and at her best. It's too bad that what she went through with Cole ruined her character. I just wished after what she went through with Cole she remained single. Maybe Phoebe just wasn't ready for a longterm relationship when she first meet Cole in S3.

I can see her being ready for a longterm relationship then, though not one as fraught as hers and Cole's, but I think it was weak writing of her character in regard to how she acted in it. Like, I could see her being caught up with him even after some of the earlier stuff he put her through, and then realizing that she can't keep doing this because her family comes first and she chooses them over him. That would've been interesting character development and I'm positive that she would've come out stronger for it.

Too bad the Phoebe/Cole story didn't play out shorter than it did on the show. I wished she had chosen her family over Cole and not lied to them about faking his death. I said in another thread, how I wished Phoebe had remained single after what she went through with Cole, and what she went through with Miles also being a wake-up call, that she is better off on her own for a while to figure things out.

Or that she ended up making him back off for good later, at the very least. I literally had to look up Miles just now because I could not recall for the life of me who he was, lol. I like that idea now that I remember that episode.

I always thought that was what they were going to do after that episode, but guess not.

Maybe Phoebe just wasn't ready for a longterm relationship when she first meet Cole in S3. I don't think she ever was, and she especially wasn't ready to become a mother, just like Piper. At the end of the series, neither should've had kids. Like so many self-centered women, PhoeME thought a baby would give her unconditional love when she's the one who's supposed to give the child unconditional love, something a self-centered person can't do. It's why I would've preferred PhoeME with a plain, ordinary handyman who couldn't give her children but could make the true baby of the family the center of his universe - the only way PhoeME could be happy in a long-term relationship, yet another reason why I think the flash-forward in "Forever Charmed" is just Piper's delusion as she dies after the explosion in 'Kill Billie, Vol 2." Wyatt saying that Phoebe and Coop are one and them happily married with three kids is what Piper would want for her sister, the way she wanted it for herself and Paige but I'm sure that had PhoeME become pregnant, she'd drop Coop like a hot potato.

I was literally just thinking earlier today about how I can't see Phoebe as a mother, nor did she ever particularly seem to care to be one. I think she would've made a wonderful aunt, though, the fun sort of aunt and the kind who the kids would go to if they didn't feel comfortable talking to their parents.

And she was an amazing aunt as we have seen in Season 5-8. Actually, I loved aunt Phoebe so much. The few moments in S5 that were cute to see was her acting like an aunt or getting excited about Piper having a child. If only they had kept this at the end of the series. Not all three sisters had to have children of their own. Why can't someone be perfectly happy being single or childless, I'm in my 30s and still childless. It's not for everyone.

I loved seeing Phoebe as an aunt! One of the things I did like about season five. But yeah, I'm around the same age that Phoebe was earlier in the show, and I already know that I never want to have children and wouldn't even mind if I never got married. It's not that I dislike children–I love being around them and interacting with them, like with my cousin's daughter–but I'd rather focus on my own goals than be responsible for another life. Phoebe likes fun and being able to cut loose, and even later when she does decide to take on more responsibility in her life even outside witch duties, it's shown through her becoming devoted to her job with the intent of doing her utmost for it.

Me too, the only aspect of Phoebe in that season I can admit I liked. That's right, focus on what you want to do in life and feel like you have to do something because everyone else is. We are all different people seeking different things in life. In my life right now, being married and having children isn't a priority for me. It happens when it does, or if it doesn't I won't be mad. I'm just enjoying life as it happens.
