Charmed was a great example of good comfort 90s/00 shows that has rewatchablity still today. Along with many other shows I still enjoy.
In terms if writing and quality no where near top 50.

Yeah its very hard to place.
Even on my personal list, I can never truly rank everything I've watched and loved. I can just give you a top 20 list in no particular order.

Yeah its very hard to place. Not for me. The shows listed, in the links, I couldn't tell you any distinguishing episodes, as they all kind of blend, together. Buffy may be an exception but even then, I haven't re-watched it, in YEARS! |

It's my number one show and will always be my number one show. IDC how "bad" others perceive the show to be, it only matters what I think about it. Everybody who knows me, KNOWS I LOVE Charmed. I did it, again, getting somebody asking me what Charmed is because I don't shut up about the show LOL It just resonates with me, in a special way, that no other show has, and I don't think any other show will. I've watched other shows and think they're not as good Charmed. As crappy as some of the later seasons were, at least Charmed EXPLAINED better what was happening instead of just throwing plots in our faces and telling us to just accept it. I've experienced way too many shows that do that, and it just makes me appreciate the later seasons, that much more because the later seasons, at least TRIED to explain the plot, but I digress. Charmed will ALWAYS be my number one show. NOTHING will surpass it, EVER! Charmed Forever! ^_^ This is exactly how I feel. Charmed will most probably always be my number 1 show, I love it against all others, I rewatch it essentially on repeat (I must have watched it at least 50 times through, not eve exaggerating). It's just everything to me, it brings me comfort, it brings me joy, it makes me sad, happy, angry and makes me laugh. I've loved it since I was a child (I'm nearly 30) and I can't imagine any other show coming close for me in my lifetime. I appreciate the acting isn't even that good, the writing or visuals aren't exceptional, the plot is a bit wild, so on a critical rating Charmed would not score that well (and would probably not even break top 100 shows) but I don't care. It is number 1 for me. |
