Where do you place Charmed on a list of top 100 shows?

If you were in charge of doing a top 100 TV Shows list for the last 50 years. Where would you place Charmed on the list - and you must play fair and really place it where it should go and not just at the top because you love the show.

Where do you feel Charmed truly deserves to go against every other show in Hollywood dears?

I don't think I have watched 100 TV shows so far, so I'd like to make it Top 50 if you don't mind.

Charmed would be around place 40 for me (and around #25 had it ended when it should've, after season 4). For me, that is quite a hight ranking considering that I am no big fan of supernatural/superhero shows (Jessica Jones would be the only other show to make it into my Top 50, waiting to watch Luke Cage) and also that it's main target group is female.

For me, "Charmed" (S1-3) would be in the Top Ten. Its alternate universe spin-off, "The Perils of Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper" aka "PhoeME and Her Fantasy Men" aka "Two Witches Plus One Living Whitelighter Equals The Power of Three?" (S4-8) doesn't make my Top 1,000 (and, yeah, I do think I've watched 1,000 TV series in the last 50 years), although some episodes from those seasons would make my Top 1000.

It wouldn't be on the list. I have great affection for "Charmed" - especially the first four seasons. But if I must be honest, it wasn't that hot.

Well truly dears, I don't think realstically Charmed would be anywhere near the top 10 if you put it up against anything in the past 50 years, and not even in the top 100 or more. But for my personal view, yes it is in *my* top 10. But I am not sure I could count the whole series, and just the first few seasons only dears.

And that's what this is about - *our* Top 100, not anyone else's.

For me, S1-3 would indeed be in the Top 10. "Star Trek (the original series)", "The Fugitive", "Life Goes On", "7th Heaven", "Quincy", "Dark Shadows", "The Monkees", "Perfect Stranger" "Eight is Enough" and "Charmed (S1-3)". Not sure what order, but they'd be my Top 10 of the last 50 years, the shows I refused to miss, and I can't really say that about any other show. I'm sure they wouldn't be in the critics' Top Ten, probably not even in the Top One Hundred, but they are mine.

In my top ten with Star Trek classic and Deep Space Nine, Lost, Games of Throne, Seinfeld, Friend, the Twilight Zone, the first five season of Supernatural and 24

Yes, Charmed would be in my top 10, alongside many other shows. But for me, what I like changes week to week and month to month, based on my mood and what show's I am currently enjoying. But Charmed won't leave the top 10 for me.

It's my number one show and will always be my number one show. IDC how "bad" others perceive the show to be, it only matters what I think about it. Everybody who knows me, KNOWS I LOVE Charmed. I did it, again, getting somebody asking me what Charmed is because I don't shut up about the show LOL

It just resonates with me, in a special way, that no other show has, and I don't think any other show will. I've watched other shows and think they're not as good Charmed. As crappy as some of the later seasons were, at least Charmed EXPLAINED better what was happening instead of just throwing plots in our faces and telling us to just accept it. I've experienced way too many shows that do that, and it just makes me appreciate the later seasons, that much more because the later seasons, at least TRIED to explain the plot, but I digress.

Charmed will ALWAYS be my number one show. NOTHING will surpass it, EVER! Charmed Forever! ^_^

Thanks. Charmed is just...a very special show, for me. I have nothing but love, for the show LOL

In regards to your list, I've seen a couple of episodes from Supernatural, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. IK (vaguely) more about both of the Stargate series, than I do Supernatural, though because my husband is really big on the Sci-Fi genre which would be where Stargate, falls under. I think they're decent shows. I like Stargate Atlantis' Elizabeth Weir. She rocks!

For me it wouldn't make the top 100 shows, perhaps maybe 90-100.

For a 90s/2000s list it would be in the top 50 I think.

If it was just for Season 1 or Season 1 - 3/4 - for the last 50 years it would be around 60/100.

I suppose I base it off of re-watchability. Charmed is on a more constant re-watch, than any other show, for me.

I'll hop on this and expand my opinion, too. I think it definitely depends on the general census, so what years are we looking at?

All time? Probably wouldn't make the top 100.

from the 50s-now? Still probably wouldn't make the top hundred, unless it was in the 90-100.

50s-90s? Definitely making 70-80.

90s? Top 20.

00s? Top 50.

10s-now? Top 60 or 70.

The show is still underrated, and for some reason, we're led to believe it wasn't super known, but it really was. I get surprised when I hear a Charmed mention on social media, because I know the cast said they hardly got any promos, but I also know it was known enough to be SOMEWHERE near Buffy, and if Buffy's making top 100 somewhere, then so is Charmed.

Precisely this.

Do I think Charmed is well acted? Not really.
Do I think Charmed is written well? Absolutely not.

Do I find Charmed relatable? Yes.
Do I find Charmed re-watchable? Yes.
Do I watch Charmed the most, out of every other shows I watch? Yes.

I find just because something is well acted or even written well may not always be relatable, re-watchable nor something I watch a lot, compared to other shows.

When I want to re-watch a show, I want to enjoy myself and have a good time, and Charmed is definitely that, for me. It's a nice "back at home" feel show. Mind you, I don't re-watch EVERY single episode. Just the ones I like the most and not get tired of re-watching them.

So, when I say "re-watchablity", I don't mean the WHOLE show. I don't think there's a single show out there, where I like EVERY single episode, TBH LOL

Charmed is the one show where MOST (not all) of the episodes are re-watchable and something I can put on as "background noise", when I want to escape reality, for a moment.
