Have you ever regretted dears watching a TV show or an episode of a show and wished you could unsee it?

Rarely. But I hate it when a good show I like only ends up with one season. That's not good. Especially when they come across the ocean. *sighs*

I can't think of a TV show I ever regretted watching that falls into the entertainment category. But if it's documentaries, something on child murderers, they just shock and disturb me so much that I regret not changing the channel sooner. There's also one movie which a part of me still regret seeing. It's called Rivals.
It starred Marnette Patterson(actresses who played Christy Jenkins), a high-school student, who surprisingly pulled something of a Christy-like move on another student. Made the other girl look like she was a villain who had ruined her life to the point of convincing two of her friends to murder that other girl.
If Brad Kern took inspiration from here for season 8, I suddenly feel glad he toned it down because the movie just left me deeply shaken.

I think for me dears, that would be some documentries I wished I didn't watch and could block out of my memory. But I think it might be Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and only because I found the teenage drama wasn't my thing - but I sat through the show for my Daughter and Grandaughter - even though the musical episode was probaly the only one I liked. But will never rewatch the show again ever sadly.

I recently watched the premiere of the Alienist and I was disgusted and I do wish I could unsee it.

I felt that way about most of S6-8 the first time I watched it. I kept watching just because that's what I did, but often felt like the hour watching it was wasted. About the only time during that period when I felt otherwise was the last half of S7.

Game of Thrones, seeing the first episode I immediately realized this is not my show. I'm really not into shows like that at all.
Like phoebe50, The Alienist is an hour of my life I want back.

I also felt that way about Supergirl - that's Superwoman, not the Supergirl I grew up with.

Game of Thrones, seeing the first episode I immediately realized this is not my show. I'm really not into shows like that at all. I already knew about the things in Game of Thrones so was kind of prepared. But what really helped was nudity, sex and extremely violent scenes were censored here. I don't get why Game of Thrones feel the need to resort do those things when it doesn't need them thanks to its great writing and amazing characters. Unfortunately for American Horror Story, even censorship didn't help o.0 Sure I can appreciate it's written well and stuff but....I just couldn't watch past two episodes. Worst regret was watching the whole Vampire Diaries Silas and Amara love saga crap. The way they introduced Silas, I thought he was gonna be this awesome Big Bad. And he was in one half of a season. After that he was turned into one of those annoying guys hung up on a girl and there was also a love triangle with a psychotic bitch witch. Same thing happened for Hawk girl and Hawkman. Their whole lovers for centuries storyline dragged Legends of Tomorrow down so much. I'm glad not to see them return in future seasons. I also regret watching 'The Grudge' movie. Not because it was a bad movie. It's my favorite :-) I was under the impression just because the leading lady was Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) and Ted Raimi (Joxer from Xena) also starred, it would be totally okay to watch a horror movie at midnight. Very bad plan.

Very bad plan. With Game of Thrones, I don't get why they felt the need to do that too when the production values were regarded as so great. Sometimes they feel that because they have no restrictions, they can do anything. But nudity, sex and extremely violent scenes shouldn't just be thrown in because they can. Most of the time the character moments are more remembered and regarded. Like you, I couldn't get into American Horror Story at all. Couldn't get past the first episode.

I was into Supergirl at first despite its flaws, but then season two happened and the whole show became absolutely awful. Also disappointed by the progression of iZombie; first season was pretty good, and the second one was decent, but the third was mostly bad. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that Black Lightning–another CW show–remains quality.

I haven’t watched any of the CW supernatural shows this season. Supergirl, flash, arrow or legends of tomorrow.

Once it moved to The CW, I just couldn't sit through more. But I haven't been able to really get into most of the CW shows dear. And if I do, I don't tend to stick around watching them for too long.

Same. CW shows tend to start out with a promising premise and even first season and then they just go downhill so fast that it's ridiculous, I can't figure out why that is. I feel that a lot of the CW writers don't understand how to write meaningful relationships (not just romantic ones) and try too hard to throw in unexpected twists that end up flopping.

That's right dear. I know love triangles are the most popular on CW shows. But they just don't seem to know how to write them meaningful. I just can't seem to stick with a show long enough. I know that even my Granddaughter has gotten bored with the DC shows, she tells me all of them seem like the same show now following the same structure, and all seem too similar with storytelling. We'll see how the Charmed reboot does, which is why I'm not going into it with very high expectations.

Even Black Lightning, which I'm enjoying, has obvious signs of some of CW's characteristic formulas. The way I see it is going into the Charmed reboot with low expectations means either being vindicated or pleasantly surprised, and even if it stinks then, well, the original show always exists.

It would have to be Charmed Season 6.
The Alienist I took a peek at and regretted even sampling 20 minutes.

What a shame, because there aren't enough Jewish characters on TV. :( But being mentally ill myself, and knowing how mental illness is portrayed in shows like this one sounds to be . . . ugh. No need to further stigmatize and spread misinformation about mental illness.
