One beef I have with the later seasons was how the Power of Three was less important, and I like the suggestions for using those powers, to help make sure the power of three aspect stays important, but at the same time, the sisters are forced to work together more, than one sister having a power that lets her vanquish demons.
When the power of Intangibility got mentioned, it made me think of invisibility too. What if Piper could just become invisible than just walking through walls, although, I think Intangibility would work just as good. Just something that came to mind now.

Yup, other members think Invisibility would be the perfect power for Piper. I like that more than Intangibility which seems more like a superhero power than a magical one.

I am generally I think more into the powers of the show than most. I actually don't think the magical world and universe drew people into Charmed like it did with a show like Buffy. But of course, Buffy was meant to be a vampire (and demon) slayer - a weapon against the forces of darkness. Sure, Buffy slaying the creatures of darkness protected people and we saw many, many instances of her saving folks and protecting what in Charmed were called "innocents". Charmed didn't place the magic and their powers at the forefront, which is why the quote "a show about sisters who happened to be witches" and not witches who happened to be sisters. But I was really drawn in by the magic and powers. I play a lot of video games and watch a lot of fantasy and sci fi shows so I have collected a lot about supernatural abilities in my brain. If anyone is interested, this is the universes I took the powers from: Deflection: Charmed Universe Intangibility: X-Men (Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde had this power) Detection: Elektra.. This one is a bit more complicated because in the universe of Elektra, she actually doesn't have "powers". Of course in our world and the Charmed world it would be considered a "power" but essentially she studied with ancient monks and they taught her to control and focus her mind much more than other humans could. She could "read" the energy of her surroundings to find people, objects, etc. She also possessed very low level telepathy only with others who had similar mental focus. Maybe it would have been cool if Phoebe could have been able to send telepathic messages to her sisters and other witches ONLY. Might have been interesting! Yeah, I'm with you there forbuss, one of my favourite things about the show was the powers (despite me really liking your ideas for their different powers). Charmed first appealed to me because it was about witches, and I'm really into the supernatural, and I adored how they had active powers. The sisterhood (once I realised it was about sisters, which was pretty quick) was another huge draw as being a sister is one of my favourite things about myself (also why I loved Piper's kids; I love how they were aunts as well as sisters, as an aunt myself). However, my biggest gripe with their powers of the show is how they could be inconsistent-- I like things to have rules, because otherwise it kinda takes me away from being inside the world. That's the biggest reason that I can't ever really think of what I would've liked them to have, because I love the powers they had, but the main thing I like thinking about is how I would've done them differently-- what rules I'd define them by, what could be vanquished, how they worked, and finally how they would progress. Especially because I loved the sisterhood, I adored how they had the power of three, I thought it was really inspired, and I'll always hate how in my favourite seasons they kinda left that alone compared to how much I'd have it. Which is why I like your ideas for what their powers could've been; it helps keep that power of three aspect. Also, it's funny you mentioned that you got the idea of intangiblility from Kitty Pryde, because that was one of the main reasons I liked the idea of that power-- I adore Shadowcat. She's one of my favourite X-Men. Ooo another X-Men fan! My favourite character from that universe is Emma Frost. She's so fabulous and ridiculous. Also super powerful.

Aah, yes, I love Emma Frost too!! Especially because how powerful she is but also because her style is just wonderful.

No, some member(s) complained to the admin about the like button - thought it became too much of popularity contest rather than actually showing agreement to a post. I didn't think that was so and keep hoping that someday the like button will be back. My way of doing it is just do a single post with the word "Exactly so" - that shows a real liking of a post. But, yes, a thumbs up works, too. Thanks much!

I do get why it was seen as too much of popularity contest I like the like button, because it lets people know I agree with them, without me wasting a post to just said I agree or something. I hope it returns someday. "Exactly so" will work too. I'll just keep putting "thumbs up", that works for me, the same way "Exactly So" works for you.
