So what did you think of the short lived good demon character Drake De'mon from S7B?
Do you think if he found a way to stay alive could he and Phoebe had last?

So what did you think of the short lived good demon character Drake De'mon from S7B? Do you think if he found a way to stay alive could he and Phoebe had last? I LOVED the way he brought my Phoebs back after she died during 'Sleuthing with the Enemy'. He's the demon Phoebe should've ended with, not Cole. In fact, I wish Cole has been a lot more like him. Take away Belthazor. Take away him being a mercenary demon and you have Drake without having to be half-human - someone so much better for Phoebe than goody-two shoes Coop whom she'd walk all over, like Piper walked over Leo! |

I loved Drake the short time he was in Charmed.
He was charming, carismatic and witty to with bundles of enthuasim. Not to mention Billy Zane was cute to.
Pity he wasn't in there much longer than he was and came in bar Leslie who was way worse a boyfriend for Phoebe that year IMO because he brought back the fun loving carefree side of Phoebe we remembered seasons 1&2 which could've happened had the show budgeted for him instead.
I liked their adventures together and little side things they done which I'd imagined they would've done more of had he stayed obviously.
Plus he was a good role model for the magic school students to showing them not all demons/ex demons were evil also.

The character was good but I'm not a fond fan of the actor. Billy Zane had his moments but not all were good.
He was there for a reason and that he achieved. End of story.

I loved Drake! He was just a fun character! I wished he had found a way to stay alive for Phoebe and they could have ended up together. I liked Coop, but always thought Drake or Cupid season 2 were better.
I think they could have done more with him being a demon, but not have it be like it was with Cole. I like Julian McMahon, and enjoyed seeing him in Charmed, but grew tired of the whole Cole/Phoebe relationship after a while. I would have liked for it to be over long before it was.
Maybe have him die, then show up again after a while. He could have found a way to come back or something.

But his job was to make Phoebe believe in love again which he accomplished then there was no need to bring Drake back again although I wouldn't have minded it certainly.

I always thought her "belief" in love dwindled yet again in season 8. Coop showed her how her heart wasn't totally open and took her on that trip to her past experiences. They could have had Drake show up then, and then we could've gotten to see more of him.  |

My only problem was how short his stint on charmed was. I would love if he had more character development and episodes. I thought he was funny, creative and full of energy

Drake in "Sleuthing With the Enemy"? When did that happen?
As for Phoebe's romance with Drake, I guess I don't care. She stopped being a favorite a long time ago. And frankly, I didn't think she was good enough for Cole. Too immature.
