I know there's a lot of bad about Charmed. There are things that we hate and things that we'd have loved to have seen happen. But there was also a lot of good. Charmed did manage to teach us things about life. I just thought I'd share this about the things we learned from Charmed for those who are interested. While Supernatural has become my favorite show at the moment, I certainly agree that Charmed made Supernatural possible (with the focus on family).

I love Supernatural to.
Anyway what early Charmed taught me was the value of family and sisterhood, being there for one another and the importance of helping people out when needed and the strength of women who were great role models for teenagers and adult women alike then.

I love its overall female empowerment message even if the sisters weren't as "sisterly" as earlier seasons. I just love watching women kicking and taking names! I appreciate their attempts in S8, when it comes to including other women outside of their own personal sisterhood, to form a much bigger "sisterhood" of ALL women and not just blood relatives. That thought wasn't executed well, but I appreciate the effort LOL
