It would be interesting to see how Prue would have responded if she were in the position Piper was in. Although Piper made it seem hard I have a feeling she had a clear choice on which sister to pick and was trying to figure out other ways. I feel like for Prue it would be much harder and I just wanted to get your opinions or thoughts on how things might have been different.

It kind of depends of Piper is still pregnant as she is in this episode.
Because Prue would chose Piper and so would Phoebe, and Paige would also - and Leo would also suffer.
If Piper had to chose between Prue and Phoebe, she'd chose Phoebe. Because she'd know Prue would never get over it and lose it completely.
If Piper wasn't pregnant.
-Prue - can't decide
-Piper - would chose Phoebe
-Phoebe - would chose Piper
-Paige -can't decide

I think Prue would figure a way to make sure both of her sisters lived, but if she truly had to choose, I think Prue would save Piper since killing Piper would also kill her unborn child - and then kill herself for letting her baby sister die. If she had to choose between both sisters and Piper wasn't pregnant, I think she'd decide neither and kill herself instead - after killing Cole for daring to think she could choose between the two of them.
If it was between Paige and Piper, she'd choose Piper even if she wasn't pregnant. If it was between Paige and Phoebe, she'd choose Phoebe. I can't see Prue ever considering Paige as her baby sister or even her sister. Her friend, yes, but not her sister, and she's choose her sister, just like if Piper had no choice, she'd choose Phoebe.
Now Phoebe...that's an interesting choice. Prue and Piper were so close with Phoebe the one on the outside. With Paige, Phoebe finally had someone she could be close to. And Phoebe being PhoeME at the time, especially if Piper wasn't pregnant, I think she'd choose Paige.

Say what you will about Cole's emotionally detached conveyance of the historical importance each sister holds to Piper, he did have a point. Phoebe meant a great deal more to her than Paige did -- who was still very much a stranger that had only just recently begun to make an impression on the now oldest sister.
Prue's situation is different since she was practically a maternal figure to her sisters throughout their upbringing. They all grew up together -- experiencing each other's company, sharing in their social live and becoming emotionally bonded to one another. In Phoebe's words, they made an oath in blood to be each other's eternal friends, not just sisters. So for Prue, the decision would be far more difficult because of what she shares with both Piper and Phoebe.
Ultimately, after some deep-seated soul searching and contemplation, I think Prue would have broken down and picked Piper. After growing up with one another, Piper was the one sister whom Prue could confide in with her thoughts, emotions, and opinions. They shared many of the same interests; even choosing to live together after Grams had died. Phoebe is a near and dear beloved sister of Prue's, without a doubt. But her compulsive rebelliousness that saw her become a misfit troublemaker was also causing her to become estranged from the manor and her sisters. Returning to that setting at the beginning of the show was not a welcome occurrence for Prue and it took quite some time for them to finally reconcile their differences and handle being alone with each other. You could still discern the friction that existed between them with some of the life choices Phoebe made. Moreover, Prue's rigid commitment to family and difficulty with opening up to people whom Phoebe knew still caused them to butt heads on many occasions.
Deep in her heart Prue would likely realise how her most heartfelt commitments is to her best friend, not just sister and eternal friend, Piper. It would kill her inside to make such a sickeningly twisted decision, but it's Piper whom she couldn't live without.

I believe Prue would have figured out the same solution Piper did. That she didn't have to really choose. She just had to write a spell to eject Isis, knowing Paige or Piper, in a case with Prue, would know the spell to resurrect/ un-mummify phoebe. The trick was to word the spell to eject Isis in a way Cole and Jeric couldn't tell it was Isis she would be ejecting.
