The Ultimate Fave Charmed Episode Poll

LOL, you obviously like Cole as lot more than I do, the way fans who like Chris or like Billie will have a list that's quite a bit different than mine (I don't like Cole, Chris or Billie because they overshadowed the ones who should've been the stars - the Charmed Ones). I like Cole as a character much more than either Chris or Billie, but I can't stand watching how being obsessed with Cole turned my favorite character, Phoebs, into my least-favorite character, PhoeME, which is why I love the last part of Season Seven - Drake brought my Phoebs back! Oh, I wish he could've remained for the rest of the series - he was *so* much better for Phoebs than either Cole or Coop (or Jason or Leslie or Dex or...) despite his name not starting with a C.

But that's the fun of being a fan - different strokes for different folks. It's all part of why I was curious to see what other fans would choose.

Yeah, guilty! I do like Cole. Maybe because he's an Aussie actor as well, so I'm biased I guess. lol!

No but seriously, I liked Cole as part of the 'Team' or 'Line Up' of the Charmed cast.

Meaning that I liked the show the most when it consisted or

Daryl, Piper & Leo, Phoebe & Cole with Prue
AND
Daryl, Piper & Leo, Phoebe & Cole with Paige. 

i.e.: Prue and Paige being the bookends of Season 3 and 4 respectively and Daryl being the tie back to Andy and his morality or normalness.

That being said, this are my longest favourite back to back string of episodes are from mid Season 2 to Mid Season 3.

Agree that Cole, Chris and Billie overshaddowed the Charmed Ones. Without him however and his vulnerability, they would have never vanquished the Source at least 2 of the times they did and fulfilled their destiny. Also, I liked how they explored his morality battle with wanting to be good but fundamentally being irreversibly evil.

Phoebe and Cole's love was the sad ending Romeo and Juliet storyline whereas Piper and Leo's was the Ross and Rachael's and it was interesting contrasting Love and Lust as well as true love and forbidden love between the two sisters over the 2 seasons.

Also, when you are burned by love (by an a$$hole) it does change you. I remember myself veering of my usual path and becoming selfish. It makes you insecure, it changes you, sometimes for the worst and sometimes it takes a long time to heal while you objectify and lose respect for yourself. Phoebe's path is the most relatable to me and also, rather sped up towards the end. I'm glad she got a happy ending, although I too would have preferred her ending up with Drake!

There's a few episodes in that list that aren't favorites, but this is the only time when I liked all three sisters - didn't like Prue before it; hated Phoebe after it, so I can tolerate the episodes I don't like just because I can see those sisters - and it's when their destiny was protecting innocents, not vanquishing something that could never be vanquished anyway - the Source of All Evil.

If Phoebe and Cole's story was truly a love story, the way Prue and Andy's and Piper and Leo's was during this period (but Leo and Piper's *wasn't* after it), then I'd probably feel the same way. But I think shows that try to turn infatuation and obsession and stalking into romantic love don't do their fans, especially their teenaged fans, any good and give a very bad example - especially because I've been in that situation and stuck with it much longer than I should've just due to what I'd seen on such shows, thinking him stalking me meant he truly loved me, but now looking back, I know how horrible it was. Just glad I got out of that situation alive.

How about that, didn't even realise that until now. That makes up 22 episodes, so a season worth.

Clearly we know which three are the most beloved. That 70s Episode, Deja Vu All Over Again and All Halliwell's Eve.

Again it is interesting that time travel is the clear winner for a plot point to make a popular episode. I am just surprised Morality Bites isn't among them.

I think a lot of fans don't like the black-and-white morality of 'Morality Bites' and that's why it's not on top. Which is funny. That's part of the reason why it's my favorite. But I'm part of an older generation where on fantasy shows like Charmed, the good were always good and evil was always evil and never the twain shall meet, so since I'm in the minority, age-wise, I'm not surprised.

And time travel didn't make all of the other time travel episodes favorites. For me, it's those three because those are when the three are most like sisters who happen to be witches, two of them written by my favorite Charmed writer, Sheryl J. Anderson, who I think wrote them like that best.

Good idea dear!

Sheryl J. Anderson wrote two of those episodes (70's and Eve), and Connie wrote the other two and Kern wrote Deja with Connie too. Richard Denault directed 70s, Anson Williams directed Eve' and Les Sheldon directed Deja Vu'. 

But your best place would be looking at IMDB and trying to find the people who made those episodes.
