Charmed felt more like a drama with supernatural elements in S1 and 2, but S3+ it became just your everyday supernatural show. BINGO! Wish I could give that sentence a hundred thumbs-ups! As soon as it became more about a witch who wanted a normal life and married the most unnormal person possible - he was already dead! - and a witch in love with a demon (oh, wait, thanks to the fact that his demonic mother screwed a mortal to make him made it okay...) - and, oh, yes, they had a sister who died and a half-sister - then it was just an ordinary supernatural show, which a lot of fans loved, but was no longer what made Charmed different than other supernatural shows. Suddenly their relationship with their men was more important than their relationship with each other - the moment they should've lost the Power of Three. Exactly. Like we've said on here before, the moment Phoebe sacrificed her sister's safety by telling them she had vanquished Cole was the moment the power of three (in my eyes) ended.

For this board, probably after Connie left. For me, personally, after S7. Billie's the only one I liked from S8, but S8's writing is "meh". I re-watched all of it, recently, and I cringed at how often they just re-hashed old ideas via the Source, 3 girls wanting to be the Charmed Ones (i.e. 3 Blondes, but these girls were not blonde), the triad, etc. I couldn't care less about what Piper & Phoebe were doing. I think the show ended how it was supposed to end, personally. I didn't want it getting worse.

I really wished those two had a project back in the day. I think their movie or a tv show would have been great.
