Yeah, short-tem love interests were the best, which is why Prue/Bane, Piper/Mark and Phoebe/Kyra are my favorites. For Paige, it's Henry for me, but he was only one season. If Piper/Leo had only been part of S1, Prue/Bane only part of S2 and Phoebe/Cole only part of S3, it would've been perfect, especially if they were the only ones with a love interest in each of those seasons! Had they had Prue tell Andy the family secret earlier and he was able to accept it, then I'd want him and Prue the ones in S1, but as is, I prefer her with Bane when he already *did* know! Besides, that way you have Piper and her angel in S1, Prue and her non-magical in S2 and Phoebe and her devil in S3. Perfect! That would have been great if they did that, Yep and Phoebe/Cole, only if his story ends with 'Sleuthing' and he is vanquished. Perfect! No, for me, I'd have Phoebe tell her sisters the truth and that would make it okay for their story to continue the entire season, the way I'd want Piper & Leo for a full season. Prue and Bane, just those two, that's perfect as is, as long as it takes Prue some time to get over him, the way I'd want Piper mourning the loss of Leo all Season 2 so no Dan. I'd want us to find out that Cole died saving Phoebe in the Underworld, so Phoebe is mourning both Prue and Cole during S4. And I'd be sure that neither were forgotten throughout the whole series.  Exactly! Interesting topic. If including Paige means losing Prue, I truly wouldn't want any love interest in S4 - use that to get to lose and mourn Prue and *then* get to know and accept Paige. You'd have Shane be part of the first episode that includes Paige (and if that was me, that would be the midseason finale, with Piper and Phoebe as a single power of two until then) and Glenn popping for a single episode, but that's more than enough for me! Personally I wouldn't want it to go beyond S4 (but then I wouldn't want it to go beyond S3 - when Shax says "The End" it would be), but if I *had* to....Hmmm. I'd have Glenn continue to just pop in and pop our, but let Paige realize that she doesn't love him,; he's her best friend with benefits and that's even better because it doesn't hurt as much when he's off somewhere else. If you include his bride, Paige would see her as the perfect match for her best friend and be happy for them. I'd want Phoebe to find Kyra and realize that the reason she could never hang onto a guy had nothing to do with her closing her heart and everything to do with the fact that she's a lesbian who has never admitted it - she had a better relationship with Kyra than she did with any of the many guys, including Cole. When she was with a guy, it always looked like she didn't really mean it or was trying to hard to appear to be straight, like with Cole when she'd practically eat his face rather than kiss him. Piper? Let her have guys like Greg the Fireman to put out her fire, but after Leo's gone in S1, no one else serious. Dan would make a decent rebound guy in S3, but shed never truly fall in love again. Let her concentrate on P3 (which is now a restaurant with her as the chief chef) and after Prue's death, being the leader of the Charmed Ones - which she does by consulting the spirit board - Prue continues to help her out that way and remains the Oldest, while Piper remains the Middle, Phoebe the Baby and Paige the Only Child she was raised to be. I'd have Chris show up in S4 after the new Charmed Ones get rid of the Source (and once he's gone, he's gone; he *never* comes back), but he'd be Paige's, not Piper's, so he wouldn't be a lying, whining, murdering brat-I'll always blame that on Piper's raising after Leo was gone. We wouldn't know who Chris' father is until the very last season when we'd find out it's Henry-and that's when we'd find out that Chris is Paige's. I'd keep Chris a son mainly because it would keep them from realizing he's one of them. Let Melinda stay in the Morality Bites universe where she belongs and let the Twice-Blessed Brat stay completely out of the series so it doesn't jump the shark! Rather than fighting his brother or cousin (he's an only child and neither Piper or Phoebe ever have kids), her brother or cousin, he'd be helping them battle the Avatars and Utopia--since he knows how dreadful Utopia is... Let the Titans and the Valkryies stay in whichever universe Wyatt now finds himself! So at the end, you have Paige with Henry, Phoebe with Kyra, Piper with her restaurants and Prue on the spirit board. Sounds perfect to me - the best way to end up with three happy Charmed Ones. I doubt if a series like that would go any more than 6 seasons--probably just 4 or 5, but that would be fine with me. |

With saying if you had to pair a sister to a love interest for one season only across S1-3, and word it with what Pheebs asked you Es. You'd have a great new thread.
Lots here, I like Es. I never thought about Prue being the godmother of Andy's oldest child. Now that could be cool, what if it happened in the series, so the sisters act like an aunt to Andy's child, while none of them have a child of their own (in the show). How would that be like? Reminds me with baby Matthew in S2.

I love the image of Prue and Andy becoming good buddies. I can see them hanging out, trading stories about Andy's work and Prue's day as a witch, just being good friends without dating. Just like Paige had Glen as someone who was an old friend and who knew her secret, Andy could be the person outside of the family that Prue confided in. He'd basically do a better job of the friend/ally role Darryl did in S2-S7, but way better for all the history they have with Andy.
He can ground the show, and give all three someone outside the family to vent and talk too, especially Prue.
Even if they had Andy get married and had a child with someone else, and as someone suggested (I think it was Es) having Prue be godmother to Andy's first child.
Not sure what this would leave Darryl's role, would he ever find out their secret, or just be a little more minor and being Andy's partner, and or perhaps he is killed at some point, as an innocent they lose.
Curious if Andy stayed, what would become of Darryl? Would he ever learn the secret, and or be killed as an innocent they'd lose at some point. Maybe Henry became Andy's new partner in S8, (I'm going with Prue is still killed here) so Darryl isn't in S8, he moved or was killed, or even Andy is the one who moves with his family.
Although it is hard to think that far ahead with Andy in every season.

I wonder what role they had planned for Darryl if Andy did live, why did they make him a co-star, when he never appeared in more than 7-10 episodes anyway. Now, that I think about it, he could just become a Whitelighter and heal Prue in S3, while Leo heals Piper. And, I can get my Power of Three of Prue, Piper & Paige, when we push through the Phoebe & Cole storyline of Phoebe becoming Queen of the Underworld, and Prue & Piper need to recruit Paige to put a stop to the Phoebe & Cole power couple.
