From what we know, Shannen was going to start filming S4 along with the whole cast. We also know that Brad Kern promised that whatever happened in S3 finale, we can't expect it to be all undone in the fourth-season premiere.
Let's assume that Shannen stays in S4, meaning (possibly) all sisters being alive, but during the first half of the season they still have to deal with the fatal consequences of Shax's attack, Dr.Griffitts' death, and Phoebe being in the Underworld. What would be the most interesting storyline in such case?

P3Nathan is working on a story that used the first one as a plotline, including the Source killing Cole and taking over his body. That's what I would've preferred as Charmed's last season. I hated the Evil Phoebe storyline, since I feel the second she did, the Power of Three should've been broken forever.

AS much as I am curious about how it would have been with Prue, Piper and Paige...
I would have preferred Charmed with the 3 original leads.
No disrespect to Paige or Rose McGowan. I ended up liking her character the most at the end anyway! (Apart from the Pheebs in Seasons 1,2, some of 3 and at the beginning of Season 4.
I chose "Prue and Piper survive after Shax's attack, but Phoebe turns evil after The Source's manipulations".
- I liked both Alyssa Milano's evil acting in early eps like Woggy, Morality & P3H20 and Phoebe being more neutrally aligned because being born over the nexus
- I liked Julian McMahon. Cole and Phoebe should have ended up together. Otherwise she should have just vanquished him in Sleuthing With The Enemy.
- We would most likely have got Melinda as Piper and Leo's first born
- Prue's maternal instincts would go into overdrive and I would have loved her facing the Source.
- Who Prue ended up with I don't know but I wonder what her romantic relationships would have been like post Season 3.

Phoebe being a prisoner in the underworld would be a good start to season 4. Now if Phoebe does turn evil, I wonder if it would turn into what we saw in AU world from season 5, with Phoebe and Cole taking over the manor. Piper and Prue being left dealing with Shax and other threats on their own.
But, if they did do it with the original power of three. I would hope Phoebe being evil would be over many episodes and not just one.

I definitely would've preferred that over what we got. But I'd still prefer never seeing the Source at all - just see him (and not his powers) actually possessing people. Him possessing Leo or Piper or even Phoebe would've been much more SCARY than his powers influencing Cole! |

I'ld like better if Phoebe and Cole came back as The Source and his Queen after for a long time Piper and Prue had believed them prisoners of the new and mysterious Source That could definitely be interesting, especially if the Phoebe and Cole kept sending demons after Prue and Piper with those two thinking it was the Source. My question is - would you have us viewers know what was going on or have us wait until Prue and Piper find out? Either way could be fun. Actually a second question - would you have anything else go on with Prue and Piper in the mean time - like would Piper have Melinda? If you went with Cole and Phoebe as the bad guys, you wouldn't need Wyatt, so it would make sense that they'd just stick with Melinda. |

Even if Queen of the Source, I can't think that Phoebe'ld have attacked her sisters
Cole'ld do it, after all he didn't like Prue as he didn't like Paige, only Piper had a little room in his heart
But it'ld be so funny, as when Paige was a vampire and Piper and Phoebe weren't able to find even a little demon in the cemetery, everyone was trying to avoid them!
I always will prefer Wyatt because Melinda's prophecy was fulfilled with the arrival of the three sisters, the story of the women of the Warren dinasty was closed
It'ld be start a new story, in the Charmed world but different, the story of a young man born in a magic day with too much power to manage, I like the plots about too power to manage
Supernatural was - in the first five season - the Charmed true spim off, Dean and Sam were sort of Wyatt and Chris, different and in a different world, but it worked
Indeed, Dean and Sam'ld be journalist and friends bu the big company about the Charmed Sons turned them in brothers and the show had five great seasons: the others are worse than the worst of Charmed season 8

If Cole had to kill the Source and take his place, Phoebe'ld be at his side
At the start they'kd think to reign to keep the demons at bay and protec the sisters, but then the high power starts to corrupt Cole..it'ld be a nice plot

As I keep replying I hope you don't mind me bringing these up, if you don't mind the trip down memory lane over three years ago.  I voted for Prue and Piper survive after Shax's attack, but Phoebe turns evil after The Source's manipulations. I'd like to see the arc play out with the Prue vs Phoebe conflict that was boiling over from S3. |
