Name your top 10 most favorite moments or scenes of season 8

I've loved dears the thread on naming your top 10 most favorite moments or scenes of the series. Now I think it would be wonderful to get a top 10 for each season.



Pick your all time top 10 favorite season 8 moments or scenes but only moments you really liked. You can also note down honourable mentions to one or two moments *not* in the top 10, but worth mentioning.

I think it's interesting to try to find some positive this season for once.
1) When Piper casts a spell and there are a lot of Leos in town.
2) The explosion of the house, I was impressed at the time.
3) The battle just before (only the battle)
4) The first battle with the potions.
5) Billie's parents killed
6) The family reunion in the finale (even though Prue isn't there and Chris and Wyatt have no reason to be there, huge inconsistencies)
7) When Piper throws a potion that Christie exploded in Phoebe's apartment.
8) The powers of both in fact although they have never been mentioned before.

I've only watched any of S8 once - when it was originally aired - so I really can't name anything - the only thing I remember is the explosion (and preferring the one from SWTWG and wishing THAT had been the last moment!) and how much I hated Piper mourning the Leocicle after her emasculating him by treating him like her only little errand boy and Billie in her super costume exposing magic and not being killed like Piper and Prue were.

We'll be re-watching S8 starting in 2105, so I'll give my 8 moments in 2106.

Sorry, Granny Charmed. I hope others do a better job with this thread than I did. But I'd be the same way if you asked for my 8 favorite moments of S6 or S4. THAT at least I hope to be able to do S4 a year from now.

The only decent episode I have watched in season 8 so far is "Repo Man".  The moment when Henry says "I'm not afraid" was pretty well done, I almost got a lump in my throat, and was impressed that Rose McGowan seemed to take it all seriously.  Credit owed where credit is due, Charmed season 8.

1. Piper and Phoebe shoe shopping. I forget what episode that is, but it was nice. It felt like a bit of early Charmed sisterly bonding.
2. Billie talking about using the Demon of Fear as inspiration in Run, Piper, Run. It like a little throwback to early Charmed, when they had to deal with him in Seasons 1 and 2.

I could probably name 10, but I cannot think of that many right now.

1. When Paige tells Henry she is a witch
2. Paige's Wedding
3. Pipers farewell to Leo before he gets frozen by the Angel of Destiny
4. The 3 sisters end monologues in Forever Charmed

ohh thats easy for me

1) 8x02 the charmed ones revealed themselves to billie
2)8x05 their comeback from hiding and the catwalk in the end of course
3)8x07 the moments on the gg bridge with paige and her father (it was a nice addition for the finale season)
4)8x09 phoebe's faith for her premonition power restored and her despair not being able to save billie (i mean their friendship in general was always fun to watch and how phoebe was a big sister to billie gives me Phoebe-Aviva vibes)
5) 8x10 leo's departure (hard to surpass this episode)
6) 8x11 phoebe's mentoring and encouragement towards billie to face her parents and control her projection power
7) 8x12-13 paige's power development first she heals henry ( and the connection between them) and then she orbs ICONICALLY the dollhouse and saves the day
8) 8x16 the long waited battle between the triad and paige's wedding finally
9) 8x19 the scene with phoebe and billie wanting to clear the air and the balance to have an actual break from magic
10)8x21-22 the explosion of the manor caught me off guard and the emotional finale (i cant leave out how phoebe kept in touch with her girlfriend when she asked her to babysit her older daughters, she made her part of her family)

i think fans are unnecessarily harsh sometimes when it comes to season8 i think there's plenty of plain yet great scenes

Now that I've seen the whole season I will say I also liked the moment when Christy kills the last member of the Triad. Her performance in that scene added some much needed life to season 8.

The scene where the demons decimate the Magical community was a laugh riot for me, my sides literally hurt from laughing, although I'm not sure if that's the reaction Charmed was hoping for...

And of course I liked the scene when the Manor is blown up in Kill Billie 2. So to wrap it up for me in season 8:

I also liked:

1) Henry
2) Christy
3) Spending so much time with Patty in the series finale
4) Phoebe taking Billie under her wing, when Paige was too lazy to do it, and actually bonding with her a little


Disliked:

1) Billie
2) Paige's stupid police officer storyline
3) Battle of the Hexes, so stupid and offensive on so many levels it doesn't even fall under the guilty pleasure category for me
4) The weak return/portrayal of the Source
5) Piper's continued use of her blow up powers to solve every battle the Charmed ones are faced with

1. Billie, and it's unfortunate that not many like her character. I really like her and enjoy her personality. Would've loved a spin-off revolving around her character.
2. Some of the "main cast" (via Chris, Wyatt, Victor, etc.) appearing for the finale wrap up. Ofc, would've loved to see other characters like Prue, Cole, Brody, etc., as well, but I digress.
3. Exploring more on Paige's Whitelighter side. She was receiving calls from Billie (unbeknownst to her) and began (finally) healing other people (despite helping to heal Cole way back in S4, but I digress). I was ecstatic to finally explore more on what Paige can do, other than Witch stuff.
4. Henry. Henry is a good replacement over Brody (I love Brody and wished we saw Whitelighter Brody in S8, but I digress).
5. Agent Murphy, and I wished we saw more of him. He was a great asset to the Charmed Ones.
6. The poeticness of Billie killing her own sister.
7. I think the S8 finale was a better closure than the S7 one. Having Piper & Leo close out the series as old and showcasing the memories and nostalgia of all they went through. Instead of just, we're gonna live normal lives, now, of the S7 finale. I think the S8 one is better, IMHO.
8. It was nice to see Sam (Paige's father), again!
9. While the pay off didn't work well, in the end, regarding the return of the Source, the Triad, the Hollow, etc., it was nice revisiting old memories.
10. IK S8 isn't a fan favorite, but I will say the stories explored in this season, I prefer much more over S2. IK that's fighting words, but I felt like S8 wasn't wasting time with an overplayed story arc, that we see with Dan Gordon throughout all of S2. So, that's one extra thing I like about S8, to have "10 positive things to say about it" LOL
