She's a completely different person from when we saw her in Charmed to now.

Yeah she really has changed. Especially all about how much she hates Hollywood and all the stories about how horrible she was treated. It's the opposite of Shannen, who was known as a bad girl in Hollywood, but over time just moves on from the past. Rose was the opposite, she did what she had to do and not get in trouble, but years later comes out with all the stories on why she hated it.
But I am not a fan of Rose and like Paige.

To me it seems like she repressed or suppressed a lot of stuff back then and from our perspective she was happy but she might have been putting on the fake smile to cover her own stress and not cause trouble in order to keep her job or get jobs, etc. Shannen stood up for herself when she was young. Some of it was maybe being a bad girl and some of it was probably standing up for herself. Now Rose is doing the same (standing up for herself). Sadly, she might be a little too caught up in it. I'm not one to judge her, but from my perspective, it looks like she is really owning this new version of herself and feeling it gives her a lot of freedom. To outsiders it looks like a lot of anger. Hopefully it is not because one doesn't need to be angry and bitter to stand up for themselves. Sometimes, yes. Other times, when you have stood up for yourself and made your boundaries clear you can relax and not keep fighting. Rose seems like she might be caught up in the 'fight'.
In fairness, she did say she was raped, and if so and if she suppressed it, that's a lot of anger and can take a lot of time to get over especially if she has not gone for counseling which can help tremendously.
I am glad to see her doing what she feels she needs to. I hope she is happy or finds happiness. This version of her doesn't really seem happy, but I only see what she posts. I don't know if she spends time enjoying life and being genuinely happy. She sure deserves it. We all do.

It seems to me that when she was interested in maintaining her career, Rose simply kept her mouth shut. I don't blame her. Hollywood can be ruthless to those actors, actresses, writers, etc. who badmouth or expose the studios, the producers and especially the system. Perhaps Rose now regards herself free enough to finally speak her mind. Perhaps this is her version of therapy. I see nothing wrong with that. Is the real problem that she is expressing her anger or might the real problem be that not many people want to consider that she might be telling the truth about Hollywood? |

Your right, it is best to keep out of it and keep your mouth shut. It is a hard industry, I know I wouldn't be able to handle the pressure. But, I see she is very passionate about sharing her experiences, most wouldn't. They are too scared of being black banned and never working in Hollywood again. |

What do you mean by "fall off"? I think she's a fascinating invidiual and I admire her peculiar personality and strong ideological view-points on the industry and the world. I think Rose has always been "different", but that, like morrigan said, it'd been supressed during her Charmed tenure. I think that's why she's my second favourite sister, because of how different she was in comparison to Phoebe and Piper whom I felt were quite plain.
She grew up in a cult and probably underwent a variety of traumatic experiences that have shaped her views on the world, and I admire that she's owning her truth.

Her Twitter account has been restored. Unfortunately, she made a comment that ended up pissing off a group of women - well, non-white women.

I know, right! She IS like a completely different person now, but I guess that's just part of her growing up.
I remember her having this rebellious kinda goth vibe back when she was dating Marilyn Manson (she was in his "Coma White" music video) and then there was this VMA red carpet event where she basically showed up naked with him, lol.
A role in a supernatural drama show really suited her. It's sad how her career never really went anywhere after Charmed, though. That's basically the biggest role she's ever gotten, which sucks considering she wasn't that bad of an actress and had the potential to do more IMO. Also, she always seemed so bubbly in interviews back then, I never once imagined that she was going through something like that in her head.
I'm not judging her and I'm glad that she's speaking up about her experiences and opinions, but as someone already mentioned, I feel like she's getting a bit too caught up in it. That's basically all she talks about nowadays and the whole political drama is tiring. I don't dislike her, but I understand why some people do. She seems like she has a hard personality. But I guess the people close to her know best. We don't really know her and can't see past her media performances.
I wish her the best and I hope she overcomes her worries.
