266) What if Cole didn't come back in Bride and Gloom but reappeared at another point later in the show? 267) What if Darryl died in place of Andy and became their new Whitelighter (after Leo died in Love Hurts)? Then all the Whitelighter-having-a-family drama comes from Darryl's storyline with Sheila and their son? 268) What if Whitelighters had nothing to offer their charges besides guidance? Or could only unlock their powers to teleport or heal as and when the Elders permitted? Perhaps even heal the dead when Fate allowed but not any and every wound as they pleased (like Piper's finger)? 269) What if Piper suggested/insisted on using the Power of Three to resurrect Prue after they found Paige? 270) What if Phoebe double-crossed her sisters and only helped them vanquish Cole so she could assume absolute power? Darryl dying in place of Andy might have been a cool twist of Deja Vu that even Phoebe didn't see coming. Like at the last second, Darryl shows up at the house after having second thoughts about Andy meeting Rodriguez, and takes the hit for him. Andy is then saved, and he's present in season 2 for a continuation on how he and Prue reconcile their feelings for each other with the knowledge of magic present. And I can totally see a grief-stricken Piper forcing Phoebe and Paige to help her resurrect Prue. That could go in many different ways, but I can see her trying it. Ooh, Phoebe being a triple agent of sorts. I hate the idea long-term of such destruction of her character, but at the same time, it's fun to imagine. Like she's so obsessed with power at that point that she herself takes Cole's place and turns her back on her sisters again. If she were to really go that evil in some alternate reality, this would be a cool way to do it. |

Ooh, Phoebe being a triple agent of sorts. I hate the idea long-term of such destruction of her character, but at the same time, it's fun to imagine. Like she's so obsessed with power at that point that she herself takes Cole's place and turns her back on her sisters again. If she were to really go that evil in some alternate reality, this would be a cool way to do it. Oh, definitely. It wouldn't work long-term. They'd write her out of it by saying it's the baby's influence and once that's gone, she's free to be redeemed. Still, killing Cole for selfish reasons, not righteous ones, would be a powerful way of showing just how far gone she was. |

Couldn't agree more, Ruth. It was so bizarre to me that they each had three children. It's too neat. Why not write one of them to have just two kids? One? Seven? None at all? And it's so strange that they rushed to end Phoebe's pregnancy arc and start Piper's. If they really had to have a pregnancy storyline in S5... use the one that's already set up? Then Piper, having finally come to terms with not having children, suddenly gets pregnant when Holly does. A genuinely surprising twist. Literally everything about Wyatt would've made more sense for the Phoetus. Then Chris can be the baby Piper has in S6 and come back to save his demonically-challenged cousin from turning evil. (Oh, how clear things look in hindsight.) Exactly right. It was more rewarding if none had children until the rnd and Piper had her first in S8 ot the end. But that couldn't happen when Holly was really pregnant. If we had to have a child what if it was Phoebe and her arc carried from S4. That they did more with Piper's struggles having kids. I've seen some believe it was so odd that just as Phoebe lost her baby that Piper was pregnant. That almost like the Phoetus was originally Phoebe's but became Piper's. That the Angel of Destiny was the Demon of Destiny in disguise. LOL That could have been fun. Especially if Piper and Paige help Phoebe with her pregnancy and baby in S5. I think it works better if Cole stays dead in S5. Maybe Phoebe quits her job in S5 with mourning Cole and dealing with her child and the Phoetus being her arc in S5 and no new love interests. I like Piper having her first chidd much later and it being in S6 than S5 might have been interesting even if at the end of the series is much more rewarding. Imagine if she found out just as Leo left and became an Elder. But if she had conceived like when she did in S6. Then Leo wouldn't be forced into S6. With no Wyatt, no point him hanging around the house. But what an interesting arc that would be. We'd not have Phoebe's long quest for her daughter if they let Wyatt be the Phoetus. If both Piper and Phoebe had children. I see no reason why Phoebe needs to have another. Maybe Piper can just have a daughter and become pregnant at the end of the show and Paige remains childless and with Henry. Phoebe a single mother. Piper a son and a daughter (pregnant with at the end). They'd cover all three not being the same. So no more children in the future apart from Piper having her daughter after the series. |

It's certainly a discussion I've seen before regarding the timing of Phoebe's loss and Wyatt's conception. I almost think when the Seer was destroyed, the baby tried to get back to its mother and since the sisters were all next to each other, it ended up in Piper by mistake. If nothing else, I would've liked Phoebe's later storylines to not revolve around finding a man and getting knocked up. Or even if that had to be in there, can she at least not be obsessive? She assigned all of her happiness to this one, very suburban goal and that's just not true to Phoebe's character. 277) What if Phoebe swore off men? Became more like Grams? Yup. It would have been better if Paige and Phoebe switched stories in S5 as some here mentioned in other threads. Paige advances in her career and Phoebe quits and wanted to go back to her love of magic as an escape. I agree. I think Phoebe being man-free would have been perfect. Even if she had no kids. Her being the favorite aunt was enough to give her joy and going back to what made her love magic in the first place and saving innocents. |

What if Kyra got her wish to be human but still had her powers and ended up becoming close friends with Phoebe and was always around in the manor, reading off each other's premonitions and finishing off each other's sentences and driving Paige and Piper mad all the time: "Buddy buddies starting to read each other" as Leo put it?

Which phoebe refuses to do. And sisters knows they can't keep up with the rate of attack they are under and with the number of innocents needing saving and have to figure out how to vanquish Cole.
195: or in another scenario what if after Leo was put on ice and taken by the angel of destiny, his sudden disappearance from the hospital and during surgery started a full on investigation into the supernatural as every doctor there saw him disappear from the table and nurses overheard pipers conversation with Paige in the hospital about angels of death and a magical solution being able to fix it as well as hearing piper say as she left the hospital that she's going to cheat death. Plus the cab driver Paige orbed to the manor and used the truth potion on confesses to the police what she did. This makes the headline news, starts conspiracy theories about the sisters and puts the sisters in the center of it. AHBL all over again. Protests, police surveillance, self proclaimed witch hunters coming after them. This becomes the ultimate battle they didn't see coming. And it centered around the AOD seeing Leo nearly dying in another way and being saved by the charmed ines in the hospital causing exposure. But this pipers plan to put him on ice still resulted in the same outcome. Confirming why the angel of destiny said Leo needed to die.
