This thread is strictly for listing all the possible what-if scenarios your wonderful minds could imagine 

For discussion, oohing and ahhing over the what-if scenarios everyone comes up with here, go to this thread:

Whoever posts after me, start from 11 and don’t repeat the scenarios already mentioned. Same goes for the poster after that. And after that and after that and so on....

1. What if one of Paige’s adopted parent survived the car crash?

6. What if the Source’s powers went into Phoebe after their stolen powers were returned from the Hollow at the end of 'Charmed and Dangerous' in Season 4?


7. What if Sam and Patty gave baby Paige to Victor who raised her?


8. What if Grams accepted Gideon’s offer to enroll the girl’s at Magic School?

11. What if the sisters never became witches?

12. What if Victor fought Grams for custody after Patty's death and won?

13. What if Patty lived and she and Victor raised their daughters together?

14. What if Patty Patty lived, she and Victor raised their daughters together, and both she and Victor were against magic?

15. What if Phoebe disliked Cole from the outset and he had to change his plan to seduce one of her sisters?

16. What if Cole still tried to infiltrate into their lives, but none of them were romantically interested and/or available?

17. What if Patty died and Victor left like in the show, but Grams died soon after those events when the girls were still children?

18. What if, due to events in their early childhood, Prue, Piper, and Phoebe were raised separately and were basically just meeting for the first time in "Something Wicca This Way Comes"?

19. What if it were Prue, Piper, or Phoebe that was raised without knowing about her sisters in place of Paige? So Paige is raised with two of her sisters but the third one isn't. Ages and birth order can stay the same or change.

20. What if Patty didn't really die, but faked her death to run away with Sam and Paige?

29: What if the Halliwell's kept the knowledge they learnt in colonial Virginia and used that again future wise?

30: What if the Source was really the red hooded man season 3 instead of the black robed half faced man season 4.

31: What if the council and Triad were distant relatives?

32: And finally what if the sisters never got secondary or third powers but just their primary ones which they nurtured and progressed?

These are all very good, but, no, Melinda, that’s nowhere *near* "finally" – there are plenty of more scenarios. Here’s some of my favorites:

33. What if Cole was truly just a mortal lawyer who was possessed by a mercenary demon named Belthazor, so Phoebe could truly get rid of Belthazor while keeping Cole?

34. What if Leo was right in Season One and that witches only needed whitelighters during their first year as witches, so Patty never divorced Victor and Leo was only part of Season One?

35. What if Piper and Leo only had Prudence Melinda who only had whitelighter powers and then Phoebe and Coop only had Ladybug who only had cupid powers, while Paige and Henry decided to only adopt non-magical children, so Melinda Warren would be correct and her powers would truly culminate (end) with the Charmed Ones?

36. What if the Charmed Ones’ destiny was always truly to protect innocents and not vanquish the Source?

37. What if Paige was the result of a demon raping Patty while she was a teenager, before she met Victor, the reason Paige was given up for adoption?

38. What if Piper and Leo had Christina rather than Chris and after Wyatt killed his younger sister, Christina’s best friend and cousin, Ladybug, went back into the past, not to save Wyatt but to kill him?

39. What if Paige was allowed to be the Only Child she was raised to be, so that once she knew about witchcraft, she could become the leader of the Charmed Ones, but treated her older half-sisters as adults rather than children as Prue did, letting Piper and Phoebe grow up and truly become adults?

40. What if Paige was truly just the daughter of a whitelighter and Wyatt and Chris were truly just sons of a whitelighter, so they could orb (their only whitelighter power…), but also each had one (and only one) of the Warren powers – Paige could move things with her mind just like Prue; Wyatt could see the future and Chris could freeze molecules?

Anyway I do have some more ideas in my head which these are then so.

51: What if Paige could properly sense evil other than that time she did with the creepy house meaning the sisters no longer needed to scry evidently?

52: What if Phoebe's empathy was emotion based only so no channeling powers then?

53: What if Prue kept Father Thomas's power in season 3 and got control over it till she dead at the end and then Phoebe got some variation of it as a witch power season 6?

54: What if Prue and Phoebe got opposite secondary powers meaning the other had levitation and astral projection then?

55: What if Piper and Paige lost their powers season 6 as well as Phoebe which they had to earn back also meaning no power of three for sometime coming?

56: What if Leo actually died in Love Hurts?

57: Or left then when Piper said he shouldn't give up his powers for her and never came back afterwards?

58: What if whitelighters could have relationships with their charges?

59: What if witches weren't assigned whitelighters to guide and protect them but guardian angels like the ones in season 7 who helped out behind the scenes and stayed invisible?

60: Or what if neither existed and the way witches grew up and learnt in their powers was by forming or joining covens via friends or family?

62. What if the sisters were 2-3 years younger when they first got their powers. Piper was fresh out of college, Prue working for about 2 years, Phoebe is in college as a freshman or 2 years?

63. What if Phoebe didn't graduate college after a year and spent longer completing her degree properly until season 5 and wasn't the sister involved with Cole or a real relationship until much later in the series?

64. What if Piper picked Dan over Leo?

65. What if Drake was Phoebe's true love and stuck around until the final episode, before his deal ends and gave Phoebe Ladybug. Leaving a single Phoebe raising her.

66. What if Leo died and never came back after season 5?

68. What if Prue's death was faked and she came back in Season 8 in place of Christy?

69. What if Grams died in the lake and Patty raised the girls alone before her passing at the start of the series?

70. What if Paige was raised with Billie and Christy as their adoptive sister and never meet her birth family?

What if Billie and Christy's last name was Warren instead of Jenkinses (that the females in their family truly kept their maiden names) and Paige was *their* half-sister and together *they* were stronger than Prue, Piper and Phoebe - that *they* were the true Charmed Ones (obviously in this scenario, 'The Witch is Back' never happened)?

72. What if Chris was actually the Phoetus (Phoebe and Cole's baby from Season Four) and used Cole's powers to fool the future Elders into giving him whitelighter powers and sending him to the past to try to stop the Titans from taking over the world, when his real mission was to kill him mother (the plot of one of my favorite fanfics: "Carry On, My Wayward Son")?

73. What if the Elders always knew about Paige and were the ones who had her given to a different set of witches to raise, knowing that the Power of Four would be too strong and if the four sisters ever cast a spell together it would destroy the world?

74. What if the sisters met Paige in Season Three and became friends with her before finding out that she was their half-sister in Season Four - so she could truly mourn Prue as her friend?

75. What if Leo was never an Elder until Chris came back and turned him into one so he could stop the Titans, but once he became one he could never come back to Earth, and Chris suddenly became half-firefighter rather than half-whitelighter?

97: What if Paige and the Evil Enchantress were one in the same or that Paige was a modern reincarnation of her who wouldn't get her elemental powers unless she done something evil then?

98: What if it was real Phoebe who died along with Anton then and not evil Phoebe who stayed in the future with whom the sisters had to live with and accept?

99: What if one of the reasons Phoebe had trouble with men later on in life i.e. Cole and Jason is through punishment for misusing her powers and not caring about innocents?

100: What if the sisters took up the Angel Of Destiny's offer and gave up their powers season 4 end?

119. What if vanquishing Cole in Centennial Charmed didn't reset the alternate reality and Paige was stuck there with alternate piper and phoebe?

120. What if Clyde refused to answer pipers call? Would cole have died from Darryl's gunshot wound?

121. What if future piper in A Witch in Time didn't fade away and now here were two pipers?

What if piper and prue never were able to get the amulet off of evil phoebe, and after Antoine died, accidentally after prue deflected evil phoebe's flame to him, then evil phoebe just got raving mad and did a Carrie. And real phoebe stayed stuck in her past life still dealing with past lives of prue and piper

123. What if Paige spilled the beans to piper and phoebe all about what Leo was like when she went back in time in Witchstock. "Hey there sun god!"

124. What if phoebe lost her fight with piper in Valhalley of the dolls" and the spell Paige read to not protect piper from her pain just made it worse and her more mad.

125. What if Kira foresaw her death clearly and alerted the sisters to zanku being fake phoebe?

126. What if Kira got her wish to be human but ended up still being stuck with her powers somehow and ended up becoming close friends with phoebe and was always around in the manor. Reading off each other's premonitions and finishing off each other's sentences and driving Paige and piper crazy all the time. "Buddy buddies starting to read each other" as Leo put it

What if Patty was raped by a demon as a teenager, and Prue had all of the demonic powers, Piper was Patty and Victor's child and had every witch powers, and Phoebe was Patty and Sam's love child and she had all of the whitelighter powers, but all three were just good witches who had those powers, and were still Charmed?

130. What if Victor was born into a warlock family and assumed a role like Brendon and turned good but Grams didn't believe he could change and why he left?

131. What if Natalie was the sisters whitelighter and not Leo?

132. What if demons played a minor role on Charmed and Warlocks were the primary antagonists?

133. What if Prue was the only sister surviving the events of Deja Vu All Over Again?

164. What if time wasn't reset in All Hell Breaks Loose, and Piper stayed dead? Prue managed to escape the hospital and Leo rescued Phoebe, and she and Phoebe went on the run?

165. What if the sisters all got exposed as witches in All Hell Breaks Loose, and none died. They couldn't get out of the mess and ended up faking their deaths and assuming glamoured themselves with different idenities?

166. What if Phoebe died after season 3, and Prue and Piper were left alone without Paige being introduced and continued to save innocents and the Source left them alone?

167. What if Prue and Paige switched places, and Paige was raised with the sisters and died after season 3, and Prue was the fourth sister but still the oldest sister they never knew they had?

168. What if Piper truly couldn't accept Leo's marriage proposal and wasn't ready to get married?

169. What if Leo was taken away from the sisters in Magic Hour, and wasn't returned until the end of the season?
