Pipers new mission in life - Wyatt - Prince charmed

The Look piper had while looking at baby wyatt asleep in his crib right after he was attacked. Her Look said it all. Momma has a new mission! Protecting Wyatt's her new full time job

Piper: Just do me a favour and don't invite Greg. Or any other guys for that matter, because I'm done with them.

Paige: I'm sorry?

Piper: It's kind of an epiphany I had, um, right after I vanquished a demon in Wyatt's room.

Phoebe: Wait, excuse me?

Piper: You know, an epiphany, a revelation.

Phoebe: No, I know about the epiphany. What do you mean a demon?

Paige: Okay, why didn't you call us?

Piper: Well, I didn't want to bother you. It's no big deal, I blew him up, he's gone.

Paige: Okay, do you know every time you say that, they come back with a vengeance?

Phoebe: Kiss of death.

Piper: It doesn't matter because I'm on it full-time now. I'm actually thinking of selling the club, 'cause I have a new mission in life and it's all become very clear to me

Chris: Will you think about what I said?

Piper: About what?

Chris: About binding Wyatt's powers.

Piper: No way.

Chris: Why not? Nobody would ever be after him and you'd have your life back.

Piper: But that would be selfish of me, wouldn't it? Put my needs before his destiny. I'm not being a martyr, Chris, I'm not. I just get it now. I'm the mother of a very special child that if I do my job right, his gonna grow up to do very special things. What could possibly be more important than that? (Wyatt stirs and whimpers.) Sweetie, go back to sleep. I will be right back.

And she's the one who was being selfish. Yes, he had that destiny, but not as a baby! For the one who wanted a normal life so badly and appreciated having one before she became Charmed, I never understood her not wanting to give the same thing to her own children. This would especially be true if she could do what Grams did for them - by binding their powers, they were also off Evil's radar.

Now, granted, that was during "Charmed" (S1-3) and not the alternate-universe spin-off, "The Perils of Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper" (S4-8), so maybe that wasn't actually a choice. Although then again, Gideon wasn't truly evil, it was just his thinking that was a bit off-kilter, since he was trying to do good by getting rid of Wyatt, so maybe binding Wyatt's powers wouldn't have kept him off the radar...

Piper is a mother, I would be scandalized if her son was not the first concern in her life, I would be scandalized if I was not the first concern in my mother life
Piper talks about her life as woman, not as witch, and decides that she will  give up men and dates, and she will dedicate herself to her  son

That's completely normal. Her priorities have changes with Wyatt's birth and she needs to define her role anew. Which part comes first? Mother, human, witch, Power of Three?

I love the story of three normal sisters who happened to be witch, not of some kind of templars who fight evil, there are too many of them and they are boring

How does binding the powers of a witch would ruin his or her "destiny"? Piper could have still taught Wyatt about witchcraft and the magical world, while keeping his powers bound. How stupid this all sounds.
