I've always seen nothing but positive comments when regarding Zankou on this forum, a lot of fans think Zankou was better than the first Source and that Zankou should have killed The Charmed Ones.
What do you guys think of Zankou and how is he acting wise? Was he a believeable demon?

Everything you said, that's what I feel about Zankou. Had it been him and the Seer rather than any version of the Source (including the influenced Cole), the Charmed Ones wouldn't have had a chance. They only beat him by Kern cheating by letting Piper and Phoebe do something they should not have been able to do - astral-project and be able to be seen and influence events around them, something that was part of Prue's power to move things with her mind, something that should not have been able to be taught. Paige might have been able to do it since moving things with her mind was also her power, but not Phoebe and Piper. Leo teaching them to do that would be like him teaching Piper to orb or Phoebe to freeze and explode things. Piper and Phoebe so should've died, which would've ended the Charmed Ones.

The Seer due to her power to see the future. But I always thought she was best as the power behind the throne. Once she was actually the Source, she was as stupid as the original Source and/or Half-Face. If either was smart, he would not have unpossessed Paige until he killed Piper and Phoebe. Problem solved.
If the Seer never saw herself raising the Phoetus, no way she should've tried bringing it into her own womb.
So she was the bigger threat, but Zankou, Belthazor (if he could've gotten rid of Cole the way Cole got rid of him), Evil Wyatt or Barbas would've made the most dangerous Source, especially if they had the Seer as their helper. No way ether set of Charmed Ones could've defeated any of those combos unless the writer cheated.

If Zankou was already a threat to the original Source, hence him being prisoned for a very long time, it was clear from the start that Zankou would also be a threat to the sisters and all good. In a way, he enjoyed it to be free and also work on a plan to get down the Power of Three. The more personal, then more interesting.  |
