We know characters are born with powers such as:
Prue: Telekinesis Paige:TKO Phoebe:Premonition Piper:Molecular combustion
However we also Know powers can be learned:
Cole: Illusion casting 3x13 Barbas: Astral Projection 5x06
We also know powers can be obtained via Athame or Spell:
Paige granted Daryel Invulnerability and Super strength with a simple spell Athames steals powers from those killed by it.
So what powers do you think can be Learned? What powers do you think can be acquired through a spell?

I like magic better, so I loved when the sisters used the Book, wrote spells, made potions
Currently there are only TV shows with people full of powers, it seems that there are only super heroes with powers, no normal people, can't stand it
It's the reason I love so much All Halliwell's Eve; the sisters had to lean only on their intellect and their bravery

I don't like how powers kept being overdone all the time. Sometimes it made the show feel too much like a super hero show. I really loved the Charmed Ones with the book, spells and potions. When the sisters think more, I appreciate it. I really loved All Halliwell's Eve too for the reasons you mentioned sol.

The sisters "learned" Astral Projection at the end of Season 7 via Leo, who was taught by Prue.

I agree the sisters shouldn't have done that without either saying a spell or using a magical object to do it.

Yep. Why didn't they just use a similar spell to the ones Phoebe had previously used to visit Cole in the Wasteland and also to taunt Barbas in 'Sympathy for the Demon'? And if they wanted to honour Prue, they couldn't just said it was a spell that she invented.

IMO if you are a witch you shouldnt be able to "learn" different powers. Same with Whitelighters. There can be a spell to replicate some of the powers but thats where I draw the line.

My theory is that astral projection is in the space between basic witch abilities like scrying, spellcasting, potion making and the powers an individual witch can possess like premonition, telekinesis and pyrokinesis. Astral projection is something that is an innate natural power for some witches, but most witches could learn the basic ability with enough time and effort. So it is not second nature, but still a witch ability if that makes sense.
