Julian Mcmahon went on to become arguably the biggest star in the world after Charmed. I mean, for the 6 years of Nip Tuck, he was as big as any movie star.
But that never happened for Krause. And I can't figure that out. Krause has it all. Looks, charm, personality ect....and the dude can act. I always felt like he would go on to be a bigger star but it never happened.
The women on the show mostly didn't want to be in the spotlight anymore after Charmed ended so that explains why they kind of fell off.
But Krause....I can't figure it out. Even Drew Fuller went on to gain a respectable measure of stardom in Amry Wives. Why was Krause left behind?

Because Julian proved himself to be a great actor. Besides he was only part of Charmed for a few years. The others were there for 8 years and got type cast. Both Alyssa and Holly got jobs after that, but none of their parts lasted too long. Rose has done better as a director.
I think 'Romantically Challenged', the show Alyssa starred in after Charmed failed because it had nothing to do with being romantically challenged and everything to do with sexually challenged - just like Phoebe.

I do know Alyssa has a new Netflix series she is filming at the moment dears I forgot the name, and Shannen is doing the Heathers reboot. But other than them none of the others are doing much lately.
Brian, on the other hand, is truly only ever known for Charmed. At least the other cast members have been in other shows as regulars. I never felt he was that strong on Charmed, Julian was the strongest male actor. That's just my opinion dears.
Might be *why* Brian and Holly attend the Charmed conventions more than any other cast member from the show. Both barely have much going for them these days with new projects, and this might be where they sadly make their money.

Holly is worth $14 million and Brian is worth a cool $500,000. So it's not like either of them are exactly hurting for money

I'm a bit stumped as to why you think Julian was that big. I honestly didn't even discover his existence until a few months back - and I'm quite well versed in the important film + TV names. Nip/Tuck got a lot of buzz in the initial 2 seasons, but then its' reputation quickly deteriorated (along with Julian's looks). Worse still - the show dated excruciatingly badly. No one even mentions it among the greats that drove the TV revolution. It doesn't have a cult following.
Currently Julian is most likely to be recognised from Charmed...just like the rest of his co-stars on it.

And Holly has just wrapped up a 7 year run on another highly successful show - Pretty Little Liars. She's at conventions because she's loyal to Charmed. It's not always about the money.

But Holly was never a big star in it. She was strictly a costar, even less than she was in 'Picket Fences', unlike Alyssa in 'Who's the Boss?'. Hence why she's loyal to Charmed - the only show where she was indeed a big star.

So give me evidence for it not being true. Julian has a lot more face than name recognition. Most people would think of him as "oh, it's that sexy/smarmy guy with weird eyebrows from Charmed/Nip Tuck". Only fans of those shows actually recall his name. Sadly, lately another common reaction to him is "What's he done to his face??" in regard to his disastrous cosmetic procedures.
To answer your question on Krause: On top of his long list of assets, Julian also caught the male 'anti-hero' phase of the cable TV revolution. 15 years ago his type of actor was very much in demand for lead roles on cable. Such juicy roles weren't written for women or 'nice guys' (Brian's type) back then.
It's such a fun fact that the biggest star to come out of this show is Amy Adams - and she was only in 1 ep!

There are many one-episode guest stars that went on to many things.

When an actor had for a long time a leading role in a successful series, he must then take time before gathering another important rule Cole was popular but not the principal characters, Holly, Alyssa, Rose were for a long time Piper, Phoebe, Paige As it was for Michael Hall, he had to wait after Dexter, because any character he would interpred, in the fans eyes he would always be Dexter Morgan
About Brian Krause, he is quite aged and never had the personality of the protagonist, he is the classic next door good guy

Because Brian Krause is not really a good actor. His acting actually made me cringe quite often. It's clear he was only cast for his looks.
By the way, I already knew Brian from Return to the Blue Lagoon and Sleepwalkers before I saw him on Charmed. But I don't recall seeing him in anything else since Charmed.

Brian was good on Charmed, he wasn't bad looking but he certainly didnt have "it" like Julien did. He was a bit to much of a nice guy and staying on Charmed for 8 years did not help his career.
