What kind of story would be if Cole was written on the show from pilot? Would he still be demon/human/witch etc or something else? Good or evil? Maybe something like Jeremy in terms of approaching the sisters? Still fall for one of the sisters and which sister would that be?
What would be your take of Cole character this way? (without the usual make him evil or/and warlock. Basically what we already got from the show Cole.) How would you place your Cole throughout the seasons?

I would have wanted Cole in only S3 and S4 and he shouldn't have even been in S5. They vanquished him...let the guy stay dead for pete's sake.

Cole took away focus from the sisters, which was fine in seasons 3 and 4, and should have been done much differently than it was, in my opinion. I'd rather the beginning of the show stay just about the sisters and their journey and relationships with one another. There's no need to add a boyfriend or magically conflicted person into the show so early.

I would've much preferred Rex (without Hannah) or Zankou as part of the entire series than Cole being part of it from the beginning. Season Three and Four is MORE than enough of Cole stealing the spotlight from the sisters, the way Chris should've only been part of one episode so he didn't steal the spotlight or Billie never exist so she wouldn't.
Now if Cole was the Big Bad and always wanted to kill the sisters and never fell in love with one (translations: he had been Rex - Julian would've done a much better job), then, yes, I'd want him to be there at the beginning and part of the entire series, especially if it only went four seasons as it should've.

No. Unless Cole was the big bad and not in involved with a sister. Introducing the Cole story at the start will *not* work. He will take attention off the sister's with a Phoebe/Cole story dears if you pushed that so early.

Immediately doing the Cole story would shift the focus off the sisters. Introducing Cole as early as Season 3 made sense than the first two seasons.

Just like everyone else said above for many of the same reason. Cole just wouldn't work right from the beginning unless they made him the true big bad and never involved with any of the sisters.

Unless Cole was vanquished at Wicca Envy as Rex and Hannah or De Ja vu as Rodregez (spelling) and then Charmed grew better focusing on the sisters later on....but I doubt it!

Agree with the others. Cole would have detracted too much from the sisters developing their sisterly bond and coming into their role as witchly protectors of the innocent with his machinations. He came onto the show at just about the right time since at that point, the Charmed Ones were established as a formidable group and the three were beginning to grasp the larger scale of the conflict they were part of.
Opposite to this -- Cole should have remained deceased after Season 4. His character was horribly mishandled in Season 5, worse than many of the shortcomings that existed as early as S3. If they couldn't give Cole the depth and narrational clarity he needed while still preserving the sisterhood of the Halliwells then they shouldn't have even bothered with him in the first place.

Well dear, it could be played out like Cole's original arc in S3 with him being vanquished immediately once he is discovered to be evil and using one of the sisters and not faking his death, but only if the viewers do not know he is evil until his final episode. But I guess they could just play that story out with Jeremy over the first 8-10 episodes. But *no*, I still think he was introduced at the right time. I don't think that idea would really work to start the series because it would distract the attention of the sisters learning about their powers and building their bond.
