Most all of Paiges love interests were horrible actors. Brody was the only one who could really act well and he had good chemistry with Rose.
Also, I feel like Phoebe should have ended up with the character that Nick Lachey played. That Coop thing was uber stupid

Nick Lachey... omg That's one I chose the forget. Some episodes from early Season 7 are quite good, if you take Phoebe and Leslie's interactions out of them.
I liked Henry and Paige as a couple.

Henry was better than most of her love interests. I still feel Brody was the best actor of them. Early season 7 was awesome cuz Leo. He played that father gone mad role perfectly. Some of Krause's best work for sure |

Yuck! I thought he was too obsessed and I hated that he made her turn her back on her sisters, the same way Cole made Phoebe do.
I also think that unless she saw Leo before Piper did, Henry was the best choice for her - the only part of S8 I like (not her becoming a whitelighter...), along with Little Wyatt.
But, of course, that's just my own opinion. I'm sure others will disagree.

Drake for phoebe. He would have brought out the playful easy going phoebe we used to know in season 1 & 2
Henry for Paige. Paige loved Brody but with his history and the avatars he would have eventually crossed the line somewhere with her sisters and fallen out with Paige

I loved Henry for Paige, it was perfect.
Like others, I do think Drake was great for Phoebe. Too bad Cole wasn't written this way.

That Coop thing was uber stupid It was less excruciating for me to watch Prue's funeral than to watch Nick Lachey attempt to act. That said, I also disliked Coop and him being sent by the Elders. What business is it of those old, stuffy men to think they know what's best for Phoebe? The whole thing felt like a marriage arranged by some overprotective father whose daughter goes along with whatever he says. That was not who Phoebe was. |

Well, since she died in 'Sleuthing with the Enemy' and became PhoeME, I assume you mean both. I've got a number of choices: Billy in 'Chick Flick' (if she had to have a fantasy guy, I'd prefer her with him - when Billie first showed up, I truly thought she was Ladybug with the real name of Billie, named after Billy Applegate - SO disappointed to find out she was just given that name so they could have two episodes called "Kill Billie, Vol 1' and 'Kill Billie, Vol. 2) Cupid in 'Heartbreak City' (if she HAD to be matched with a cupid, I much prefer the one in S2 over Coop) Kyra in 'Witchness Protection' (in my eyes, Phoebe had a stronger sexual connection with Kyra than any guy - with the guys she always looked like she was trying too hard to prove that she was heterosexual which always made me think that Phoebe was a closet lesbian who hadn't admitted it yet - which would've been typical for the late 90's/early 00's) Drake in 'Show Ghouls' (like others have said, I wish Cole had been a lot more like him. I loved him because he brought my Phoebs back, the first time I'd seen her since 'Sleuthing with the Enemy', which is why I only liked him in this episode) In all cases, Phoebe was a better person while she was with this person than she was before, which is why I loved her with that particular person. Can't say that for any of her other slampieces. |

The problem is you put together two who get along so well you don't have drama. People think that means boring. I don't, but that's why they tend to put together couples that just don't make sense - until the end when they're trying to hurry and match up everyone so everyone is married with three kids - like that's the only way a woman can be happy... *roll eyes* I sure hope they do that differently on the reboot, but I'll bet they won't. |

I don't mind Phoebe having kids as I wouldn't like her to end up like Old Phoebe from The Three Faces of Phoebe but not with someone who was just introduced so she could have kids.

I minded Phoebe having kids because she wanted kids to give her unconditional love when as a mother, she's supposed to give THEM unconditional love. Not having kids wouldn't have made her Old Phoebe - it would've prevented her from becoming Old Phoebe, unless she ever decided to grow up by taking responsibility for her actions.
I always wanted her to find a plain, fat, old handyman who couldn't give her kids but could make the true baby of the family (despite Paige being younger) the center of his life - the ONLY way she could be happy!
It's one of many reasons why I think the flash-forward in 'Forever Charmed' is just Piper's delusion as she dies after the explosion in 'Kill Billie, Vol 2'.

Well in my verse, Wyatt is Phoebe's kid not Piper's. And that's way before S8 and Phoebe and her whole baby finding quest which was so OOC anyway. My ending couples are Piper and Dan, Phoebe and Leo and Paige and Henry. Prue and Cole would be interesting from the comics

A bunch of stuff just came to my mind. I am actually starting to agree with you guys that maybe Phoebe wasnt the best fit for Cole. But in some ways, she still was. Let me explain.
Many of you have said that Julian was too good at acting and took attention away from the sisters because of it. I think that train of thought may have played into why they put Phoebe with Cole.
While Rose and Holly are respectable actresses, they are no match for Julian. Alyssa was the only one who could get near him where acting skill was concerned. Putting Cole with Piper or Paige would have been a total acting mismatch. Especially with Paige. I respect Roses acting ability, but her romantic acting was awful.
Anyway those are the thoughts that came to me tonight haha.
Out of curiosity, what do you think of Roses confusing acting ability? Most of the time, she was good. But she was horrible in romantic scenes ( goodbye Richard scene, anyone?). Now this would lead one to believe that romantic scenes arent her thing. But in an even more confusing twist, she nailed her romantic scenes in all the movies she did after Charmed. So she can act in romantic scenes. But she sucked in Charmed romantic scenes. Which is confusing lol

I don't know about that. I loved the scene where Paige told Henry she was a witch or when she was trying to explain to him about demons. Or when she told Henry to wear a veil instead...they were the saving grace of Season 8.
