Just curious based on all the discussions as of late with Piper/Leo and Dan. If this episode didn't happen at the start of S2, and instead was the finale episode of S2 instead, how differently would it impact the season?
Especially Piper/Leo and Piper/Dan's relationship? Would Piper have reacted differently if she didn't see what she did in the future? How differently would Phoebe and Prue be if they didn't go through the experience in this episode, until the end of S2 and going into S3?

It's why I find myself wishing that my favorite episode was never aired, or was left as the series finale. It really did affect the show in many ways that it shouldn't have, forcing Piper to be someone she never could truly be happy being - married to a magical man and having magical sons.
Another episode that I feel the same way about (favorite, but wish it never happened) is 'P3 H20'. I wonder how they would've handled Shannen's firing if Sam was never part of the series and we'd never seen that a dead man like Leo could sire a child...
Of course if Brian Krause had only been part of Season One as originally planned (thanks, Holly! *roll eyes*) and instead Ted King had stayed on for the entire series, we wouldn't have having these discussions.
If only...

This episode would have worked and made the perfect series finale. What if instead of Piper going back in time she is arrested and exposed as a witch, or she or her sisters find themselves in that Morality Bites future. They learn their lesson and fix the mess they made and instead of killing Billie and Christy they strip or bind their powers, and then defeat The Triad. I don't know somehow trying to incorporate Morality Bites with Forever Charmed somehow.
I so would love to know how they would handle Shannen being fired if P3 H20 didn't happen. I have a feeling Paige would be the long-lost older sister that Patty had as a teenager.
