S6 almost had me giving up for good. So yes, S7 was an upgrade but was still not Charmed for me like the earlier seasons.
I didn't care for Leslie at all. But I didn't with most of her short term love interests.

But I didn't with most of her short term love interests. I did with some short-terms - two of them in Season Seven - S2 Cupid, Kyra and Drake. The last two, along with Zankou, were the best part of Season Seven for me, along with Phoebs in 'Show Ghouls' and 'Something Wicca This Way Goes'. For me, the rest belong in the crapper. That's hard for me to say about an episode that includes Patty, usually my favorite character on Charmed, but I didn't like her in 'Cheaper by the Coven' any more than the other characters. I didn't find this particular episode funny or even a train wreck - I just found it disgusting, just like the ones where Alyssa got to show off her boobs under pretense of either a cold heart or woman's lib. But I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Unless I'm confused Es and you were also commenting to summerreading too?

I hate to admit it, but Phoebe was so embarrassing in some episodes where she acted in a manner like you said above. Why did they have to write her this way? Phoebe never was the same once she meets Cole.

I didn't care for Once in a Blue Moon, not the best episode and really just one of those forgotten episodes. I'm glad you found some enjoyment in it.

I never got the hate for Once in a Blue Moon. It's not amazing, yeah, but it's certainly not one of the worst. I think it's the awful cringe-worthy CGI that puts people off. Cheaper by the Coven is MUCH worse. I absolutely despise that episode. I still don't understand how "old" the sisters are meant to be under the child spell. One minute they're talking about kissing boys and sex-talks, the next they're talking in baby voices. I feel that Rose was like, 'Can I just orb away and skip this episode' While we're on the topic of S7 episodes, does anyone like Charrrmed and Charmed Noir? I know they are cheesy, but I do have a a bit of a soft spot for them.

I really like charmed noir but not Charrrmed. The whole pirate plot seemed way out of place for a charmed episode as well as the “Entrapment” like heist scene in the museum

No. For me, and I'm sure other females, it's a knock about what women are like during their menstrual cycle, especially when a bunch of women living together all have their period at the same time. I'll agree with that - and I usually love episodes that include Patty - this one and 'Forever Charmed' are the exceptions - but I hate 'Blue Moon' more. I dislike Charrrmed - just didn't seem to fit. Charmed Noir *was* a favorite episode until I realized how obsessive Brody is. Now it's like Phoebe/Cole-episodes or Piper/Leo ones, where I might like it a lot if I didn't know what would happen to change the characters. Had they made the final season a combination of S4 and S7 by skipping S5, S6 & S8 (and leaving out the boys), I'd probably like that final season a lot more than I like S4 and S7.

Not a fan dears of the earlier S7 episodes. Of course Cheaper By the Coven has Grams in it but it wasn't enough to save it.
Once In a Blue Moon and A Call to Arms I dislike more.

No. For me, and I'm sure other females, it's a knock about what women are like during their menstrual cycle, especially when a bunch of women living together all have their period at the same time. Mean, pissed and emotional according to Kern. I don't recall period jokes when Piper was transforming into a Wendigo. She was genuinely scared of killing others. Prue and Phoebe were also worried and not making PMS jokes. But here, Paige goes as far as to joke about Leo killing Zola. This coming from a woman who couldn't forgive herself for her parents' deaths and was absolutely convinced she had killed them. Then there's the whole Gideon killing Chris she being in the same room as he died and faded away in Leo's arms. So why joke at Leo? Because she's mean when she's on her period? Also if Blue Moon make witches go beastly, why aren't other witches also tearing apart their whitelighters or anyone else threaten them? Why wasn't some kind of city wide emergency declared? Does the Blue Moon only affect witches on their period? So literally no witch in the entire city besides the Charmed Ones were going through their menstrual cycle? Also as usual the all powerful Elders have no idea about the Blue Moon and its effects. Not to mention that Leo was possessed by a demon. Never liked this episode when it aired and with rewatching, I'm noticing more inconsistencies and plot holes.

I change my mind upon reflection What a ridiculous, offensive premise. I never thought it was "funny" I must add, but in hindsight it seems all the more pathetic. 'Charrrmed' gets slightly more praise for adding a LGBT character - was she seriously the only one on a show set in SF? - pity she was just fireball fodder.
