I just rewatched this episode. It’s one of the few season 8 episodes I rewatch often. This episode reminded me of the season 6 “power of 3 blonds” episode but redone with a more serious tone to it.
These were some of the things I loved about this episode.
Here we have Piper initially trying everything in her means to prevent Phoebe from leaving the manor for her new apartment . At first She’s not even helping phoebe lift a single box. And it all gets to a head when possessed phoebe vanquishes pipers only lead to finding Leo. Then Piper looses it and she and evil phoebe go at it verbally. Something we’ve seldom see phoebe and Piper do. The whole Cole reference during their argument was so funny.
Then there’s Paige, on the other hand, taking personal gain and magic misuse to a whole new level. She’s using magic to help Henry get through his day to magically solve all his problems so she can have a perfect dinner with him. I always wondered how this was no different than what phoebe did trying to fulfill her premonition of her baby in season 6 and why Paige didn’t get into trouble for it.
Then there’s evil phoebe knocking Piper out, and evil Paige orbs Piper to the dollhouse. Piper ends up in the dollhouse with real phoebe and real Paige and she’s not able to still tell the difference between possessed phoebe and real phoebe because she’s accusing real phoebe of just punching her.
Then my best part was the ending scenes. Paige’s dinner with Henry and Piper coming to terms with phoebe leaving. Both were emotional scenes. My best being when Piper realizes how much phoebe means to her. I always tear up during this scene
