Was just thinking about this and thought it might be good for my first thread. We all know that a witches power gets stronger and develops after time and experience. But can a warlock develop a power that it has stole from a witch? What do you think?

It could've and should've. Unfortunately, the idea of warlocks stealing powers from witches went out the door after Season One. After this, warlocks (the few times we saw them) could blink and really not do much beyond that. *YAWN*
By the way, welcome to the Cafe! Hope you enjoy yourself here!

The warlock mythology went nowhere after Season 1. It's too bad, I liked it better than their demon ones. They had so many interesting warlocks in S1 that could have been major villains for multiple episodes.

I found a lot of the warlocks in S1-2 a lot more demonic than the demons we saw in S3-8. Truly I think the demons on Charmed should've been warlocks and the warlocks should've been demons. I'll be interested to see how they portray demons and warlocks on the reboot.

Maybe they should have made Cole and Zankou warlocks and Jeremy, The Rowe Coven etc. demons. Maybe the Brotherhood of the Thorn could be Warlocks and an evil warlock Coven Cole used to be apart of. I wonder about the reboot too doing it.

Jeremy did come across as very demonic in my eyes. But then the Warlock design for the demonic like look also came back in When Bad Warlocks Go Good.
But back in Season 1, demons were not very important, and especially in the first episode Constance most likely didn't plan to have demons being so major. Maybe she wanted Warlocks to just be it, and then to have some demonic like qualities. While having demons of the week very rarely.
It will be interesting to see how this Charmed reboot tackles the mythology.

So, yeah . . . he or she can develop a power that he/she had stolen from a witch. I believe that was a big mistake on Burge's part.

I completely agree. They messed up the Warlock mythology right from the off. If they were only meant to be disgraced HUMAN witches, then why did so many of them have demonic forms? Perhaps this was a metaphor for one's soul becoming evil once they defied the Wiccan Rede.
I too think that Warlocks should have been the main adversaries in the series. Demons ought to have been reserved for the upper echelons of the Evil Hierarchy, those with a "specialty" ability such as the Source, the Seer, Barbas, Tempus, the Crone, the Triad and Belthazor. They should've been the evil equivalents of the Elders, in my opinion.
