Which "Seer" had the most potential?

I know "Seer" was essentially just a title given to demons with clairvoyant powers, but I thought it would be fun to discuss this criminally underused subset of powers on Charmed, so I've included all significant characters I can remember who had notable psychic or clairvoyance powers. These characters all had varying abilities and different ways of utilising their powers, so I don't necessarily mean which one was best at "seeing into the future" per se, but rather which do you think was most adept at their specific ability? Which would be the most powerful had we seen more of what they could do? 

I added Zankou because the Avatars explained that he had 'the gift of prescience' which was why he was able to understand human emotions so well. He was also able to track the events of the outside world whilst he was imprisoned by the Source.

I've also added an 'Other' option in my poll in case anybody would like to include characters from the comic books. I decided not to include one-off characters (like the gypsies and oracles) as we didn't get to see much of their powers' potential. I also steered away from the Telepaths featured on the show, as they are also mostly one-off characters, but as they can be considered "psychic" as well, feel free to choose them if you wish.

Can't wait to see what everyone thinks!

I voted for Phoebe 100%.  Her powers were so useful and as such could've been so much more. We see it in S1 with how Phoebe's powers alerted her to the time loop they were trapped in, without that the Charmed Ones would've died. I never understood why the writers screwed Phoebe over so much, Prue and Piper got these awesome 2nd powers and Phoebe just got stuck with trash levitation that she could barely use because it was too "expensive".

Regardless, we see the potential of Phoebe's powers in Kyra, who was able to sense and anticipate attacks effortlessly. This is what Phoebe's powers should of developed into too but instead her visions became all about her love life.

I chose Melinda Warren and Zankou. Melinda because if her power of premonition had been better developed, Phoebe's would've, too, and Zankou because if his had been better developed, he would've defeated the Charmed Ones and we wouldn't have been stuck with S8.

I liked the Seer's, the Crone's and Kyra's versions just as they were, so I wouldn't want them more than what they were so I couldn't vote for them. They might have had the most potential, but I didn't want to see it, while I would've liked to see Melinda's (and through her, Phoebe) and Zankou's give more potential.

haha..You know well enough, I think if I had my way, they'd be on Season 21 by now!

I loved Kira out of all the seers. She just had the humor and wit that was so funny! I loved when she said something to Phoebe about how she liked "even the touching". That has got to be the best scene of the episode!

But I'll admit that I love seeing a fan love all three the way you do. Wish I felt that way, but I stopped loving Piper in Season 2 with the way she treated Leo, Phoebe in Season 3 when she put Cole in front of her sisters, Prue in Season 3 when she started turning into Superwitch along with her pride, and Paige in Season 5 when the peroxide went straight to her brain and made her act like a ditzy blonde. I just kept hoping that *maybe* the ones I loved so much in Season 1 and early Season 2 would come back... Paige did to an extent in Season 8 and Phoebe did with Drake, but that was it!

I honestly dear don't think I'd have survived watching the show that long. But I'm pretty sure obviously none of them would stick around that long especially Rose. I'd presume the show would have Paige and Phoebe gone completely and it would be a spin-off on Piper, Leo and the kids by then. Actually, with how they wanted to try and do the Charmed Sons, I wouldn't be surprised this is the direction they wanted to take, with Piper and Leo playing guest stars.

But perhaps if WB didn't become the CW, Charmed may have continued even longer. *shudder* I'd hate to think about what Kern might have done next. Because I love the S9 comics so much, we wouldn't have those if the show did go further.

But as Es said we all look at the show differently. I wished I could feel the same as you do Polarity. But so nice to see you do feel this way.

I didn't like that whole Phoebe putting Cole in front of her sisters either! Season 3 was where she changed from the best Phoebe. I loved her most in Season 1-2.
Paige did get kind of ditzy around that time. Paige did come around again with Henry. He was good for her. I enjoyed seeing him on there.
I loved Drake! I absolutely LOVE Drake!! They should have ended her with Drake or at least Season 2 Cupid.

Yeah, they definitely wouldn't have stuck around that long. We probably would be watching Chris and Wyatt by now.

I have never read the comics. I wouldn't know where to even find them here. But then again, I've never looked in a local bookstore to even see if they had them. I ought to, just to see if it would interest me. I might like them.

I do like how everyone sees things differently. It's nice to hear different opinions. Sometimes it makes me stop and think about how I view something in a particular episode and makes me see it another way. I love that!

I remember there being a site online you can read the comics with scand. But I forgot what it was dear.

Agreed. Phoebe's powers were paid DUST. She should've been Kyra-level by the end of the show. It's really quite sad, as her powers could've had the most potential of the three. I always felt the show implied this in S1-2, especially when in 'Morality Bites' when they showed us how she killed Cal Greene, but they screwed up so badly by giving her levitation. Phoebe should've had astral projection. I mean, being able to project herself to another location and track someone is essentially a present-day psychic vision!

Very true, Melinda was able to see 300 years into the future! It would've be cool if Phoebe had a similar premonition at the end of the show and we saw HER ancestors. I loved the Seer, Crone and Kyra. In fact, I always wished THEY had been the Triad in S8 (not three black cloaks) and the sisters' ultimate enemy.

Exactly! I'll never understand the descision to give Prue astral projection when she already had a strong active power.

True if you swapped Astral Projection and Levitation between Prue and Phoebe then both sisters would've been balanced power wise having actual progressions of their first ones which fitted them and explained why certain things happened like when Prue jumped kicked Vincereas a few feet away in the hallway although that could've also just been her using telekinesis and then when Phoebe started being inside visions instead of just viewing them because she could be in two places at once already.

I actually just thought, as well, that if Phoebe had got the invisible form of AP like Rex and Barbas, she would be be able to sense someone, project herself to their location and effectively "spy" on them. This basically WOULD be a remote-viewing present-day "premonition" because she'd have the added bonus of being invisible.

Phoebe had great potential as a seer, but the series never explored or acknowledged this, except in one episode before dismissing it. I found it odd that the old Source had depended upon both the Oracle and the Seer for his information. Yet, given the opportunity to acquire Phoebe's premonition ability and develop it, he dismissed her ability as not wort having. Either we're supposed to believe he was a moron, or Kern and the writers were.
