Hey, Team Charmed Café!
As you know, I'm working on our 7th Month-Day Update since we'll be celebrating it this Thursday and I'll be busy at work this week and not be able to work on it.
Usually I like to wait until the end of the update before letting you guys know how many episodes we have left, but I was SO surprised by the results and possible consequences I figured I better do it now.
People, we only have THREE episodes left! They are 2x17, 2x21 and 4x06!
Since none of those are close to each other, I think we should leave those as standalones, and I think like Ruth did with the Wendigo and Prudence did with the Gorgons, if anyone has an idea for a standalone, I think they should let us know what that idea is and which slot they want to stick it into.
Of course if anyone has an idea for a story arc they'd like to do but won't be able to due to this, they can always do their own fantasy version, the way I've done mine and that I'm going to update after I edit all of the unedited episodes this summer.

Wow I'm shocked. We are that close. That makes sense Es to tell us now. I haven't got any ideas for another standalone at this present time. But if someone else does. Let us know guys.

Just a quick message, to say I want to grab episode 2.21, I have a few ideas for what I might do, especially with the arc I had beforehand merging into our S2 finale with the Elemental Crisis?

SUMMER
SUMMER: I finished my episode, and managed to have it run into Prudence's wonderful Elemental Crisis season 2 finale story.
I'm going to re-post the whole arc here, so others can follow it, and not get confused, or if you need to be refreshed. Plus some of them have a few changes too since.
SUMMER: So what do you think? And do you like how it flows into our big season 2 finale?
Now we have just *two* more episodes left to write. Any takers?

Well done, you really did a good job of blending it into Prudence's season finale story. The same way Prudence blended her arc into your Wither Pox arc. You two are both so good at working your arcs into another and vice versa. I like this arc for the ending of S2. At the moment, I haven't got the plot figured out, but I'd love a story where the Warrens try to save an innocent and one where they have to deal with a tragic end where their innocent dies, maybe this innocent could be a friend to one of the Warrens. In one of our S1 episodes, we had one where Patience or was it Paige had a friend who knew their secret, although she wasn't a big part of the story but just used for the plot briefly, why not have her die. It just is something missing in EC, where at times they do lose innocents sadly. If anyone knows how to work this better, by all means, write and plot it.

First, very, very nice job, Summer! I LOVE how you bridged the gap between your mini-arc and our exciting S2 season finale!
Second, Ruth, I love your idea, too. I think the friend you're thinking of is one of the Salem police who knew Patience's secret (we never knew how - that would make for an interesting backstory) and who would let Patience know when one of the new cases seemed "witchy". Patience taking pictures at a crime scene and finding her friend dead...oh, yes, that would make for a very dramatic episode, and since it's an S4 one, I'm pretty sure we don't hear from this friend after S3. Best of all, Ruth, if you write the press release, you'll get to be able to name her. I'll be sure to incorporate the name when I do my major all-series edit this summer.
Hey, Team Charmed Café! That means we just need ONE MORE EPISODE IDEA to reach our goal of 100!!! Anyone have any ideas?
Also, while doing this, think of our next stage for EC - all of those TBAs - can you come up with an episode title or tagline?
AND, does anyone want to try doing EC YOUR way rather than our way? I'm having a blast working on my own and I'm sure others feel the same way. The best part about that is that if you want to cast your fantasy series you sure can (I am!) Are you a bit upset thinking that we made this TOO male-centric and think some of our innocents or demonesses or warlocks should be males?
Or do you think Prudence should've had a brother or Paige a boyfriend? Do you think one of the Warrens should be gay? Do a fantasy version and you can make it happen!
Do you think some of the arcs could be done differently or are there some one-shots that you think should be expanded into story arcs?
Or do you think we went too far and should've stopped after three seasons or maybe didn't go far enough and go a full five seasons or beyond? Maybe you'd like to see one of Piper and Matthew's kids (perhaps a son...) come back from the future and help out ala Chris Halliwell? If so, go for it!
The best part is if you use press releases as we are (or an Episode Guide like I am), you only have to come up with stories - you don't have to come up with solutions!
All of these possibilities I'd love to see happen, mainly because I may borrow the ideas for my own fantasy version - as anyone would be welcome to borrow ideas from mine!

SASHA: I do have ideas for expanding a one-shot because I played with my own one-shot, that expanded a story, but knowing how we want our EC board series to be like, I didn't share it. Basically, in one of them, Paige will make a connection with someone and fall in love with a ghost, it is a short 3-part arc, that ends with her having to let them go. I even thought about doing it as a one-shot, or even having Paige and this ghost (before they died) being part of a backstory set before Piper and Phoebe moved to Salem, and they died, but their ghost is still around and shows up now. But I know we don't want that part of our series, so I'll get to play with it in mine. I thought about Paige being the one to be gay and this being a female love ghost she falls for. We'll see.

Of course, I don't know, if we'd want that part of ours even as a one-shot story.

RUTH: I'm going to work on my story sometime later this week, I got busy and haven't just yet. But, I do like the idea of her coming back for another episode as ghost needing help, but Sasha, if you have an idea for an episode like that, go for it.
But, maybe let me write mine first, and I can let you do the other episode with her, and then you can keep the plots you had in mind of the stand-alone story with Paige and her love interest who dies and becomes a ghost. Although I like the idea of a short-term story with Paige having her love interest having died in a backstory before the series started, and then them showing up as a ghost in a stand-alone interesting, I don't know if that is what we'd want for our series. Of course, it is a one-off. Maybe we can just do that with Patience's friend.

ES: First, very, very nice job, Summer! SASHA: I really love this idea, and can't wait to see what you do Ruth. PHEEBS: Me too!
ES: Hey, Team Charmed Café! That means we just need ONE MORE EPISODE IDEA to reach our goal of 100!!! Anyone have any ideas? Also, while doing this, think of our next stage for EC - all of those TBAs - can you come up with an episode title or tagline? SASHA: WOW one more. I really like us doing the titles and taglines for the ones we missed. ES: I'd love to have some of you come up with ideas and let the original writer choose their the title and tagline for their episode. While I'm doing my series edit this summer, I could post those episodes in this thread and members could put their suggestions into the thread and the writer could decide in it. Then I could use the "winners" in my next month update. How dose that sound? ES: AND, does anyone want to try doing EC YOUR way rather than our way? We'll see. GRANNY: My daughter and granddaughter are curious Sasha about your one-shot story you had planned with Paige and a ghost of someone she knew, who died and has only just now shown up, I'm guessing it took them a while to even know they were dead in the first place. Of course, I don't know, if we'd want that part of ours even as a one-shot story. PHEEBS: Maybe we can have our last two episodes based around ideas both Ruth and Sasha thought about. Patience's friend dies in the first episode as an innocent, and in the second story, she's back as a ghost with some unfinished business and we can base it around something that happened to Patience and her friend years ago before Phoebe and Piper moved to Salem.

ES: OOOO! I *really* like these ideas and that would take care of the last two episodes nicely! Ruth and Sasha, I really hope you guys do this! Especially if you can do it by our April Month-Day, that would be fantastic! [/quote]
