That's the fun of your own fantasy version - if you want male costars, you can have them. I know in my own fantasy version rather than Julian playing Joseph the warlock who costars in Season 5, it's Rose playing Joan (PURE fantasy - Rose would never do it, but I LOVE her playing evil rather than ditzy!)

Here's my other fantasy castings so far:

Prudence played by Jennifer Rhodes
Patience played by Finola Hughes
Paige played by Alyssa Milano

and, of course Emmalee and Megan still playing Piper and Phoebe, which leads me into casting Jake Sakson, the one who played Little Andy, playing Piper's boyfriend Matthew.

I've still cast Shannen as Jenna Warren, but I've cast Holly as Penelope (not Mary Ann - I always wanted Melinda Warren's name to start with a P...and Grams' full name is the only one we didn't use) Warren. Again, pure fantasy - NO WAY Shannen and Holly would act together! But I'd love to see it happen, the fun of doing fantasies.

Those are mine. Anyone else have any?

*nods* Exactly so. And since I don't watch much broadcast TV so I don't know current actors who would work, I have fun just using one who were on Charmed

That's right. That's our own little fantasy world while the other is our group project.

I'm sure we can figure out who will fit later. It seems most here want our stories and seasons covered. Should we sit on casting or is that a priority. Personally I would set the week before the real reboot starts as a deadline. Be nice to have our cast finalized before. Unless others don't agree? Just so we know who our cast is while the other one is airing. If that maked sense?

No, I think that sounds like a fantastic idea for something to do once we've got our 100 episodes.

I've been thinking about it and the more I do, the more I truly think that our board version shouldn't cast anyone outside of Shannen and Alyssa as Jenna and Mary Ann.

That way anyone reading it can imagine them looking however they want. If they want to imagine them looking like the Classic Charmed actors, they can. *shrug* IF they want to imagine them looking like the rip-off characters, they can. If they want to imagine them black or Native or Hispanic or Asian or even British or Australian they can.

They can even imagine Prudence as one race who marries Allen who's a different race (meaning that Andrea would also be that race), making Patience and Paige half one race and then half another and then have Patience marry Victor who's a third race making Piper and Phoebe half one race, a quarter another and a quarter a third.

It would be entirely up to the reader. Ditto for all of the guest stars outside of Shannen and Alyssa, and since they're from the 1800s, their race truly has nothing to do with our stars.

And that way no one is pushing their own ideas on others, and our project is all about mother/daughter, grandmother/granddaughters, auntie/nieces, along with sisters - what they look like is the least-important part of our series, unlike so many of the new reboots, including the Charmed rip-off where everyone seems to mainly be excited by the fact that they're not white - not what the stories will be about.

As we've already been doing, of course if anyone wants to go ahead and cast the series and put in pictures and names and what they've been in here as their own fantasy casting, they sure can. Or if a bunch of you want to do something like that, go for it.

But let's not make that part of the actual Team Charmed Cafe project, okay?

A very good suggestion. I'm fine with this.

We're wanting the best stories and plots to keep readers interested. And we're doing so well with original ideas and different villains and incorporating Salem history into stories.
