The woogy & nexus instead of the hollow

Anyone else feel like the source should've went for the woogyman instead of the writers making up the hollow. I never liked the concept of the hollow as a primal force that took both sides to banish as spells consitute as magic for it to absorb. The woogman could grant untold power and was a black force. It could possess him and grant him the same powers that Zan gained. 

Plus they never used it again until season eight and it never made sense why it could be put back in it's box after the explosion. I think it made more sense for the hollow to get discarded. Thoughts?

Wouldn't Piper and Phoebe just banish the the Woogy back using the spell?

That's what I perfer. It was the beginning of good and evil working together for a balance? I think it would've worked better if they had after he was vanquished.

Hmm, I don't know to me that would just be another easy way to vanquish him like the ancestors spell.

I would've much preferred he couldn't have been killed at all.
