Does anyone think the titles of these 2 episodes should have been swapped? I don't know why the first episode of season 2 was called Witch Trial when the witch trial episode was the next one where Phoebe burns.

But then how does the original Witch Trail swap to being about Morality?
But good point - the original Witch Trial doesn't have anything to do with a Witch Trial.... unless I am missing the pun.
It would be cool to have a list of episodes and what their Pun actually relates to - there are a few that I still don't get.

Morality Bites does make sense for the second. In regards to the extent to which Phoebe's actions in the future right or wrong. And the moral of the episode.
I don't get why the first episode was titled Witch Trial though. Although I've seen international titles name it The Anniversary, Halliwell Anniversary or Celebration.

According to "The Book of Three", the Official Companion to Charmed, "Witch Trial" is based on a sham of a court case to determine if a person (usually a woman) was a witch, while at the same time it was also a trial for Prue to decide if she could still be a witch while mourning how it had killed Andy.
"Morality Bites" is a play on the name of a popular movie of the time, "Reality Bites". By believing (well, at least then...) that the wrong thing done for the right reason is still the wrong thing, having murdered, Phoebe had to die and her sisters had to let her.

Now that makes sense.

I might be wrong but... I read somewhere that these two episodes had their titles mixed up and it was too late to fix it before they aired.

Yeah, I can see why 'Witch Trial' would fit as the title instead of 'Morality Bites'. But 'Morality Bites' does fit as the title for what the episode is about.
