-There's something about camera work and settings and snow which was visually appealing. And ofcourse the last scene with the three sisters striking the staff down powerfully to open the portal to Tartarus.
-Hunter disguised as Macy smugly telling Mel about sleeping with Gavin after disabling the protection mark only to discover Macy was a virgin. Then Hunter cuddling upto Gavin to triple check if the mark doesn't work anymore.
Dislikes
-Trying to redo the Cole/Phoebe emotional scenes in Sleuthing with the Enemy with Parker/Maggie. Especially the one where Cole is about to stab a distraught Phoebe who had a big fight with her sisters.
I knew Phoebe for two seasons and nine episodes. And her sisters too. I know Maggie and her sisters for like nine episodes and Parker for even less. But I knew Cole for nine episodes of season 3 as well and somehow he managed to impress me a million times more than Parker, Maggie or any other of the cast of the reboot combined.
If they really wanted to rush the plots, then they should've atleast hired extremely talented actors in the first place.

I've been saying it all along, the show is much more enjoyable once you stop comparing to the OG Charmed. I like the Parker/Maggie storyline. Was it similar to Phoebe/Cole sure but not exact, it's got its own thing developing.
The Sisters of Arcana and the Crows, when I first watched this I did think the same thing but when I think about it, she yelled: "I have three" which might have been her telling the crows and the Sisters of Arcana that she has three daughters.
How does Mel not realize that Hunter disguised as Macy is not her real sister? Even if she didn't know her from before, she is completely different now.
I think the fast-paced storylines trying to quickly incorporate OG Charmed themes into this reboot might have been the purpose of the first half of the season. I hope they stop with the plot speed through, dialogue scenes. The pacing of this show is ridiculous. Where is the suggestion box! Maybe we can start an online petition or a hashtag. #slowCharmedplotspointsdown
Is it me or does Parker not have all the powers that his father and Hunter have?

I liked the episode and I like the majority of the characters, but they are rushing things, and though it's nice to not have the "they don't know he's really evil" plot going on for an entire series, there's not enough to like about Parker's character to appreciate the sisters (especially Maggie) finding out now.
Also we're touching on two Charmed plots here. Cole series 3 with the he's really Belthazor plot, and Cole series 4 with the taking the Source's powers plot!
But in terms of not comparing it to the show, I liked how Galvin's mark was a good indicator of evil being close. I guess the reason that Parker's mother can be close to him in the lab (unlike Hunter who can't even enter the same room) is because she's human. Though then that would question how Hunter and Parker's father was able to be in the lab if Galvin's mark is quite that powerful to block full demons from entering the same room as him?
Harry, no! Nice cliffhanger that you guys got for the Christmas break. Fortunately, I'll get to see the resolution to that cliffhanger next week!

There also the S'Arcana vs. Elders plot which is like season 7's Avatars vs. Elders plot. Good catch. If the mark let's half-demon Parker share a painful hand shake with Galvin and won't let Hunter enter the house who is a full demon, by that logic it shouldn't allow the Demon Dad into university grounds.
