Oh look Harry flashback, well that was especially corny lol. Talking dragonlike creature may be a bit to much. So the Elders are willing to just let Harry rot in hell? Who wants to work for these creeps? They only care about their fellow Elders. Wish I could bring myself to care about Maggie crying over her boyfriend but I dont. Girl, your power is to read minds or feel their feelings, that is very easy to get around when you know to look out for it. Well Macy/Galvin are just talking about witches/demons/whitelighters in public like its common knowledge to everyone lol. The OG did it plenty though I would think this is something they learn from. Looks like they've become the little dynamic duo and I guess they are a couple now? Out of their Charmed minds? Their Charmedness isnt really that big. Lol we have a demon that can tune into Tartarus through a tv? And now he just opens a door and throws Maggie in...this shouldnt be as funny as it is. Can Whitelighters not just zip tot he underworld? Everything about Tararus is just corny and funny. Alistar is known as The Dark Master? Really? Though he is very enjoyable with his little showdown with TCO. The Charmed Ones are finally able to do something themselves and instead of The Power of 3 spell they have a blue shield thingy. Anytime Maggie/Parker are together Oh look whose back, not at all surprised. Overall it was an ok episode, first half wasnt that great but it picked up once Alistar confronted the sisters. Everything about Tartarus was just extremely corny. Oh snap! More sister father switerchoo madness going on,

I managed to find this online to watch (won't be able too once I'm off my vacation during the day). Where I live, they pushed the reboot until a late timeslot at 10:30 PM, it hasn't been rating as well as they'd like. While Classic Charmed keeps rerunning daily, they are airing S3, and S6 episodes on the weekend's at least twice. They used to air it directly before Supernatural at about 9, but then it got moved to a later timeslot. But Classic Charmed always has such a huge international appeal outside of America. I'll be interested to see how other countries take it, and if they too move it to the death slot or take it off the air. My thoughts on this weeks episode. I'm more interested in the Jada/The Sisters of Arcana against the Elders plot than the Parker plot. Having a group of people who are against the Elders way, is great for conflict. And I find Jada way more interesting than any of the other sisters love interests. It is too bad they didn't just let The Sisters of Arcana be the main plotline of S1, and just let Alastair be a villain in his own right, sending his minions after the sisters. Ditch the Parker story, it is so boring, and cringe-worthy. Tartarus was just extremely stupid, I hated everything about it. So Maggie has a new power. I really am not liking how they are handling their powers and how fast they grow. This show just can't resist rushing plots and powers. Alastair is a good villain, it is just his sons, I find boring. Don't care about Galvin, he still has no chemistry with Macy. Now we're stuck with him being more involved in plots now that he knows her secret. *sigh* Now, I think Jada/Mel are okay, and if they become a couple I'll be fine. The other co-star is just boring. Galvin and Parker do nothing for me. I do like Harry, and I do think they could use him differently so he isn't always giving answers, and changed him so he isn't a whitelighter but something else. But if he never hooks up with any sisters, and I think that is what they will do, I'll be thrilled. But he is brought back so quickly. Can't this show slow down, they just speed through plotlines. The Maggie/Parker scenes continue to be Maggie and Macy have the same dad while Mel has a different one, I'm confused? What is going on with the fathers? Still, this show annoys me in parts. But I'm not thinking too much about Classic Charmed, the more I do and the more I compare, the more I'll not be able to at least try and enjoy this. I don't even think of it as Charmed but rather Charmed: The Witches of Michigan. Still Classic Charmed still has a place in my heart, and this is never going to compare. But I'm trying not to think too much about Classic Charmed when I watch.

This was a good episode.
I wonder if the pain removal spell Maggie cast was a homage to the fearless one Piper cast in original Charmed?
Glad Charity and the Elders were called out for what they are which original Charmed didn't do though am slightly concerned what the Sarcana might do if they extinguished the Elders of course.
Concerning them, I like where the stories going and Jada as a character obviously though couldn't understand why Niko was back taking pictures of Mel and Jada when Mel wiped her memories.
And we got Harry's backstory early then which made me think of him like Scott Lang the second Antman and Flint Marko the Sandman both criminals who stole only to help their children which I did feel sorry about going through the episode.
I appreciate how he cares for the sisters and helped Maggie in Tartarus like a brother they don't have which I can see would affect him if anything happened to them.
Nice to see his son's alive whom I hope he'll be able to find which the show might delve into perhaps.

Still wonder why they keep changing their minds on who has what dad. They seem to be doing it for the shock or they truly came to see that giving all three different fathers was too hard to sell.
So the mother hops from one guy to another then back to the first.
Also they have so many inconsistencies already. Macy's birthday was changed three episodes in a row. She was 28 in one episode said by Macy herself, the next she is 27 going on 28 based on a file and then in a moment in the past it was 1989 we see her mother pregnant with her making Macy older than she appears.

So now the middle sister is the half-sister. LOL Gotta admit, I haven't watched this, but having an older half-sister had so much promise, and I was interested to at least hear how they'd develop that story through what those who watch say.
Looks like they are just as bad at continuity like Classic Charmed was.
But looks like fans seem to be enjoying the Sarcana/Jada story more than the Parker and his family story. I guess at least this Sarcana story lets the series focus on women and not men, which that Parker story seems to do.
Phoebe was my favorite sister on Charmed, and the Cole arc ruined her. I hope Parker doesn't do the same to Maggie, who I hear is the most popular sister.
So Mel's girlfriend who I thought I heard was out of the picture is back, so are they setting up a new love triangle between a witch/half whitelighter (isn't Jada that?) and cop.

This episode almost put me to sleep. The only two things worth of interest to me were Jada and Mel and then suddenly Niko and the revelation that Mel is actually the half-sister.
Even though Maggie got the worst done a million times break up story ever, her acting was good.
But 10 episodes in and the show is already cramming romantic drama between Macy/Galvin, Parker/Maggie, Jada/Mel now Charity and Harry.
I really want to care about Harry and his past. But I just can't. There haven't been proper flashbacks for the three sisters the show is supposed to be about. The one there was in the Kappa Spirit episode just wasn't that great.
At this rate they should rename this reboot from 'Charmed' to 'Charmed: A show about everything and everyone else but three sisters who discover they're witches.'

The flashbacks so far, have all been about their mother (and now Harry) and we are yet to see ones with the sisters being the stars. I'm wondering if when they reveal the killer of the mother, they'll do a flashback episode showing how Macy moved to town and showing us all the events leading up to her death. I hope now they have a full season order, they will slow down. It looks like next weeks is a standalone episode. I agree way too many romantic pairings. I really don't like that all three sisters, even Harry are all set up for someone. I'd rather they just focus on one, not four. I think Jada/Mel are the only couple I like so far, and interested in. Might be because the sisters of Sacana plotline is the most interesting than the others.

I like how there are such vast opinions about the show - best episode - boring - I still haven't watched the show but feel compelled to post
I like this episode, I've been trying to rewatch the season to comment on the posts leading up to this episode but I couldn't wait. I like the Harry backstory flashbacks. And especially the end, where he learns that his son is alive. Harry died in the 50s, which would make his son around 50 ish. I have a theory, hear me out. What if this absentee dad of the girls? is, in fact, Harry sons? That would explain the connection that I kept reading between Harry and Macy. And now that we find out that the oldest sister and the youngest sister actually share a dad, Maybe it's a familial bond to Harry? Mel is the only one who we haven't seen this connection.
To be honest, I keep forgetting there is a Jada/Mel storyline in this show. I'm wrapped up in the Harry, Macy, Maggie/Parker storylines.
The Dark Master reminds me of that online handle name you created in your youth and still use because it's how people know and identify you ... cough cough...simplypoo83
I hope Allister isn't running scared but falling back to regroup to come back stronger. Also, why confront the charmed ones at the gate of Tartarus... if he waited like 15 minutes they would have been gone and Allister could have then got Hunter back... I'm all for equality but can we make smarter demons? Where are the masterminds of this evil underground?

Another message forum watching reboot Charmed have the same idea about Harry's son potentially being one or two of the sister's father also which would as you say explain Harry and Macy's connection.
