Not necessarily a bad episode but if you are going to do a "90s tv" episode...why not do some fun throwbacks to the original? They could've done the entire episode with the sisters trapped in a 90s tv series with lousy special effects, actual orbing, etc...
Honestly the orbing effect is a hundred times better than the way Harry disappears as if he's being flushed down a toilet.
But I agree with the sisters being trapped in the entire episode together, rather than just Macy and Harry for a brief period while her sisters do their separate thing. Harry could've been the one figuring out how to get the sisters out.
Same feelings here. It's like they're operating under "we're going to be canceled after season 2 so let's put everything we got in there."
But the result is similar to putting everything you have around the house from chocolate to raw meat to laundry detergent and just cook them in one pan and hoping it would be a great tasting meal.
They've slowed down a bit episode, but still isn't enough.
I don’t remember the name of the university and town the show takes place. I don't remember what Maggie is studying in college and how her grades and exams are, what job she is doing to financially support her education. No clue as to what job does Mel do and how exactly does it support her financially.
Are Elders paying her to go undercover? Are the S'Arcana paying her too? Is she magically creating money?
Had it not been for this episode, I almost forgot that Macy cooks and bakes. But besides working on Parker blood to solve her own demon blood problem what exactly was Macy working on?
Also what exactly does Jada do beside bashing the Elders, sleeping with Mel and telling her how to use her powers?
What the hell does Galvin do in the lab all day? How unimportant is his life's work to science, humanity and him that he just went off on a quest alone to find answer to remove the demon out of Macy even if it gets him killed?
And not even Harry accompanied him or gave him a ride? Also wasn't Harry doing some kind of job as well at the university as a professor so...what is it who are his students? How is he managing being whitelighter to Charmed Ones on top of having a real job?
What is Parker doing besides Maggie?
What exactly do these new version of Elders do all day? Do they eat and sleep too seeing they're not some divine beings but just witches? What about the S'Arcana? Do they just stare at the witch they freed all day?
What I don't get is why didn't Macy get a sex scene. Or even Mel or Jada? Macy losing her virginity is supposed to to be a big thing and all that got was a I levitated the bed mention.
Even though I don't like Galvin and glad he isn't in this episode, I don't get why everyone just doesn't care about him going to sacrifice his life to help Macy.
