I'm back!

Hey everyone! I thought I'd drop a note to say that I'm back after about maybe a 10 year absense (maybe a little less but it's been a loooong time and I know most of the people I used to chat to have moved on.

I left for a variety of reasons but the main one was time. Between uni, work, starting a family, and trying to get a business off the ground I didn't have time for anything else.

My time is still short but I've kept in touch with a few people from here outside of the board and I've finally got a little bit of space to be more social and wanted to return here.

I see there's a rewatch going on but I'll admit that I won't be joining in. I used to have the DVDs but after moving country I had to replace a lot of my DVDs and Charmed hasn't been a box set replaced yet. Maybe one day I will but my work involves TV shows that are on air now and I have little time to rewatch anything. However, I loooove fanfiction and watching fan videos so that part of the board is most definitely where I'll spend a lot of time! I used to write a lot of Charmed fanfiction but not so much recently. I started a Supernatural-Charmed combo fic but haven't updated it in a few years since moving country 😳

I've checked out the new Charmed (had to for work) and while I like it, I don't love it as much as Classic Charmed -- although I admit that even that wasn't perfect. Right now I love Supernatural, Deadly Class, The Magicians, Outlander, SEAL Team, and lots of NBC shows (too many to mention).

I cant be around every day because of RL but I'm going to make a commitment to drop in every few days at the very least.

I've been reading Summer Reading's posts at FF.net and love them! It's where I've been spending a lot of my time as I made a lot of connections there first in various fandoms.

And through people I still chat to hear, I've been hearing all about Elemental Charmed. Love seeing it all in the Cafe. Looking forward to interact here again!

I too love Supernatural so we have a common interest there then.

I've been watching the reboot but will always hold original Charmed close to my heart.

I'm glad you managed to check out Summer's Charmed: Reimagined over at FF.net and loved them. I'm glad you managed to keep busy dear at FF.net and made lots of friends in different fandoms.

Hey, if you have some time now, does that mean you might be able to work more on your virtual series "PROGENY: Angels & Demons"? I've always said that if there was going to be a Charmed: The Next Generation spin-off, yours is the one I would've liked to have seen it based on.

Hey, if you have some time now, does that mean you might be able to work more on your virtual series "PROGENY: Angels & Demons"? I've always said that if there was going to be a Charmed: The Next Generation spin-off, yours is the one I would've liked to have seen it based on.

I'll be working through Elemental Charmed slowly and will likely reply in dribs and drabs as I get through sections.

But I've been trying so hard to get back onto Progeny: Angels and Demons. Right now, my plan is to reduce the episode count for Seasons 3-5. I don't know if you remember, but five seasons was always the planned ending. I'll be cutting out some of the filler and focusing mostly on the storyline. It's how I prefer real TV shows so it makes sense to write my virtual series that way. The first two seasons that have already been published on my site will remain the same so it's just the bits that nobody has seen that will change.

So, I disappeared again...back again!

Without going into too much detail, the last couple of years have been rough. The last 12 months more than anything else and not because of the pandemic. It's ended with a marriage broken beyond repair and a lot of tears and anger. I didn't really want to be sociable during that time but now I'm on the other side and ready to get chatting again.

I've missed this place, but every time I tried to come back, I just couldn't quite do it because my head wasn't in the right place with everything going on. Now it is.

So here I am and spending some time catching up on everything I've missed!

So sorry to hear about your personal struggles. I totally understand why you needed that time away from being online, until you were more comfortable and ready.

It's nice hearing from you again Lexi and totally understandable, why you haven't been around obviously. Everyone needs time out now and again to focus on them.

I'm glad your okay now but sorry to read about the personal struggles you've had.
