I liked the sisters working together this episode despite the show being started from original Charmed season 4 as it reminded me of seasons 1&2 when nothing overtook their goal of helping the innocent.
Loved Mel calling out the Elders which Piper, Phoebe, and Phoebe never done. Hope that continues there.
Felt sorry for Harry about what the Elders did because it wasn't his fault originally so he shouldn't have been punished for it.
His interactions with Mel, Macy, and Maggie were sadning
He clearly loves the sisters as charges and them he as a foster father figure friend. Will he doesn't go away.
It's clear Mel still loves Niko despite her being engaged and Mel with Jada.
I wonder if a big event concerning Fiona will happen and she needs to know the right time to do it or there's a magical object she wants to find which could be in space hence her wanting to know where that maybe probing Harry's mind then.

Overall I thought this was a pretty solid episode.
The Elders are officially TRASH and I don't know how they can really keep them in the show after this. The fact that they so willingly condemn a whitelighter to death because he broke an innocent rule is ridiculous and the way they spoke to TCO....was mind blowing. This was the most I have ever liked Mel and her ability to speak up. Macy/Maggie really should have as well. Though I didn't understand why the sisters thought "oh we'll reveal magic and force their hand" would only work once, keep doing it until they ACTUALLY listen to you and not just speak AT you. Of course this entire plot should be a S2/3 plot but whatever at this point.
The demon wasnt bad but I was thinking about how Buffy used a lot of similar themes when it came to sexism and everything but they didnt hit you over the head with it, you actually went back and thought "oooh hey this means THAT!" so I wish Charmed was smart enough to do it instead of spelling it out for us. Oh he uses a phallic looking dagger to kill these people, how we vanquish him by throwing a knife into his thingy.
Powers as usual were....new Charmed like. Mel's freezing is hella strong! Not only can she freeze someone and have them be touched over and over without unfreezing, she is able to freeze long distance and through closed doors. Still not a fan of the fight scenes with her and Maggie since I just feel like they are unearned and just there to show them being badass instead of the sisters having a reason to train like Prue/Phoebe did.

Remembering that when this show first came out, their big thing was bringing down the patriarchy. I guessed back then that this patriarchy would be the Elders.
Having never watched a second of the rip-off - looks like I was right.
But wasn't NuPatty an Elder Witch? And I thought there were other female ones in the group. How does that fit in?
As for NuGiles, remembering what happened with Ted King in S1 of Classic Charmed, I can't help wondering if the guy playing NuGiles wants out or if he was hired to just be part of the first season and one of the patriarchy's victims, the way Leo was originally only be part of S1 (Don't I wish...).
Here's hoping they're also getting rid of NuShane and NuCole.

That makes it even weirder that they seem to be making them the evil ones. They must've changed their minds regarding bringing down the patriarchy. Unless there's still more surprises ahead...

I think they are trying to do the whole "Women are witches, Men are demons" Thus far all the "evil" women we've come across have been corrupted by men.

I remember reading about this show having some female villains who were evil, like the Banshee or their version of some Spider demon. So they had them corrupted by men, figures. I see they are introducing Nu-Natalie in the series already. I'm surprised, they decided to give them a new whitelighter this early. Are they phasing out Harry, and or does the actor want to leave or only signed a one year contract, since I assume him being British, he was based in England and might miss his family and not intend to stay on this show for years.

I'd assume that with how fast this series is moving from reviews I've read, they'd already have their first co-star being killed off after S1, I'd be surprised if they didn't. Especially with all these sisters apparently being attached to a love interest in S1, I'm sure they'd need to shake things up with one of them being killed eventually.

Ideally all the characters would be written off

Still, I'd think they'd want to do something like this in the future season introducing a new whitelighter. But as I've read, they have a million storylines at once, and like to speed through things. What with wrapping up the mother's murder well before the finale. Is that still the case for you, do you think the first season has moved at a decent pace or have they introduced too much into the first season, that the sisters don't feel fleshed out, as I keep hearing?

NuNatalie will only be in the next episode I think until Harry's back afterwards otherwise she might be a reoccurring character until season 1 end though I've not seen articles stating that obviously.
Hopefully, season 2 is more slowed down so everything doesn't happen at once though there were many things this year which could've been saved till next like Galvin and Parker for instance as like classic Charmed season 1 I would've preferred finding out about the sisters, their reaction to Macy, learning to bond, and practising their powers also with only Harry thrown in and no Elders then.
