Charmed's Alyssa Milano Feels Disrespected By The Reboot.

Former Charmed star Alyssa Milano has admitted that she feels 'disrespected' by The CW's reboot of the fantasy drama series.

In an interview with US Weekly, Alyssa, who played sister Phoebe, was asked if she'd ever consider reuniting with co-stars Holly Marie Combs (Piper) and Shannen Doherty (Prue).

"I think that ship has sailed," Alyssa answered. "I think that they ruined the possibility of that by the way in which the reboot came down.

"Like, the fact that we weren't included from the very beginning. It just felt really disrespectful, you know

"It's sad, too, because I think we all would have come [together] to do something. [We] created that world. It would have been amazing."

Alyssa's comments echo those made by former co-star Holly Marie Combs last year.

"Let me say first that I appreciate the jobs and opportunities the Charmed reboot has created," Combs said.

"But I will never understand what is fierce, funny, or feminist in creating a show that basically says the original actresses are too old to do a job they did 12 years ago. I hope the new show is far better than the marketing so the true legacy does remain."

The Charmed reboot has just finished airing its first season on The CW and has already been renewed for a second.

Charmed airs on The CW in the US, while UK viewers can catch it on Tuesdays on E4.

Interesting she has brought this up now and didn't say this a year ago.

But I don't think a revival or reunion will ever happen, that ship has for sure sailed, not as long as the reboot is on the air, and of course, getting all four ladies back together was never going to happen.

Still, I hope the four of them can set aside differences and come together for a reunion panel or event, much like how we fantasied in our Elemental Charmed Deadline articles.

Too bad, a reunion panel or event won't ever happen. Not when they are all fighting. I wish they could get along for the fans. Hate to admit, they don't sound like the best bunch of people, I know we all idolize them, but sometimes it is better to not care much for the actors, outside of appreciating them for their roles. Over the years, I have lost respect for actors, when I get too caught up in their real lives.

They have a right to be upset, but sadly, they can't do anything about it, since CBS owns the rights to Charmed now, I think when Aaron Spelling died and his company was no more, the rights to Charmed must have ended up going to CBS. I'm not sure?

But, really, a reunion was never happening, unless the four of them got together and did something five years ago when bringing back old school as a revival were a thing. Charmed was already ruined by the end of S8, I personally don't want it brought back, it won't be the same if they have to continue after Forever Charmed.
