The triquetra is a Celtic symbol
wiki:
Germanic paganism
The triquetra has been found on runestones in Northern Europe and on early Germanic coins. It presumably had pagan religious meaning and it bears a resemblance to the valknut, a symbol associated with Norse mythology. Similarly to contemporary Celtic cultures, it appears the symbol remained in use as a Christian symbol after the abandonment of paganism by the different Germanic peoples. Evidence of this can be seen by the inclusion of the symbol on Christian stonework across the Germanic world, such as the Anglo-Saxon frith stool at Hexham Abbey
The Celtic pantheon consists of numerous recorded theonyms, both from Greco-Roman ethnography and from epigraphy. Among the most prominent ones are Teutatis, Taranis and Lugus. Figures from medieval Irish mythology have also been interpreted as iterations of earlier pre-Christian Insular deities in the study of comparative mythology.
It would have been interesting understanding how Melinda Warren's family came to Virginia in the 1600s.
It would have also been interesting to have a prequel about Melinda Warren's life esp considering how many time-era drama's there on Netflix.
Also, how did the Warren's move across to San Francisco. They must have moved for the Gold Rush? or to take refuge? Or in search for the Nexus you think?
Prue did say that her great grandparents moved in to the Manor before it was destroyed by the early 1900s earthquake.
Do you also think they moved from the East Coast.
The Halliwell Family history is so interesting!

The Halliwell Family history is so interesting! I agree. It's fun to think about where in Europe their family came from, as well as their journey to America on the East Coast, all the way across the country. We know that Grams was born in Boston, but that by that time, they would already be living in San Francisco. And when the sisters' great grandparents moved onto the site of the current manor, it was right around the 1906 earthquake. The gold rush would have been over by then, but it never said if their ancestors lived in San Francisco around that time anyway, and just didn't live in the spot the manor is in now. They might have traveled sometime in the mid 1800s and lived elsewhere in the city until 1906. And travel was so difficult before the 1900s that I wonder how they went from the East Coast to the West. Maybe they had already started moving across the country and it wasn't a complete journey from one side of the country to the other. It's fun to think about how they might have taken that journey, and other cities they may have lived in prior to San Francisco.

I would've loved to learn more about the Warren family too and their ancestors perhaps plus what the triquetra symbolised to them in terms of power or religious terms maybe if any if them were Christian or Catholic then.

Sounded like they were a little bit in I've Got Your Under My Skin. Penny (Grams), must have been born in Boston while P. Baxter / Gordon Johnson visiting one of her aunts perhaps? Maybe P. Bowen or P. Russells parents? or perhaps the other cousins (most probably P. Russell, Phoebe) came from the East Coast. According to a Charmed novel made in 2002: P. Baxter's mother, Philippa and her aunt Agnes (the sisters), did not like each other. "However, it was made known that when her sister, Agnes, alienated the family altogether to defend a powerful murderous warlock whom she believed to be their long-lost brother, Philippa deeply resented Agnes for it, even after her sister realized her mistake and confessed to the family about it. She indicated in her journal her severe disapproval and unwillingness to forgive Agnes." Was it P. Baxter (passed Piper) to be the first to move into the manor, or would she have also bought her mother/aunt to San Francisco too? Assuming that they came directly from the East Coast. It so interesting to map out. We have: with est. birth decades Prue Piper, Phoebe and Paige 1970s Patty 1940s Grams 1915s P. Baxter (first to move into the Manor... but from here) & the P. cousins. 1890s Philippa & Agnes & Potentially another sister/brother (but were the most previous set of sisters that we know (if you include novels with episodes) 1865-70. Could have been the earliest generation to see or have lived in the manor at some point. missing 1750 - 1870 (where where they in the earliest years of independence?) I wonder if their husbands found in the Revolutionary and Civil War. Possibly Cecelia 1730s Possibly Avivia 1750s Possibibly Alice Warren 1730s Possibily Beatrice (One leg) 1710s Prudence 1690s Melinda 1670s Charlotte Wrren 1650s

Maybe P. Bowen or P. Russells parents? or perhaps the other cousins (most probably P. Russell, Phoebe) came from the East Coast. Wouldn't it be fun if Phoebe's past life as P. Russell had lived in New York, and then Phoebe as we know her spent time in the same place before they became witches? That would be a fun fan fiction story of how the sisters take a trip there and Phoebe shows them where she lived for those few months, and there's some magical tie-in about her past life in the same city, maybe living in the same building she had lived in before. Maybe that was what drew present-day Phoebe to New York in the first place without her realizing it at the time.

From what I had learned, Grams was born around 1930. And Patty was born roughly twenty years later.

From what I had learned, Grams was born around 1930. And Patty was born roughly twenty years later. That is accurate. Not like the Charmed Wiki placing Grams born in 1937, making her 13 when Patty was born. Grams being 20 when she was born makes more sense. So Grams being 67 or 68 at the time of her death makes sense. Patty being born in 1950, and dies in 1978 at aged 28 makes sense. But Charmed had so many inconsistencies with ages and dates. I think Melinda Warren was incorrectly stated as born in 1670, making her 22 when she died, she seemed older than that, especially when she had her daughter Prudence, unless she was only 2 when she died. I'd put her at close to 30. But I wouldn't put it past the writers for not getting dates and years right, and not bothering to really put effort in, since the sisters ages and birthdays has been inaccurate so many times in the series. I'd place Melinda being born in 1662, and Prudence being born around early 1683, so she was about 8 or 9 when her mother died.

If Grams was born in Boston. I wonder if that means P. Bowen was still living in the manor in the 30s. And when exactly did Grams end up back in the manor by the 60s with Allen and her daughter Patty.
I'd like to have learned more about the history of the Warren's. Especially Grams early life.
