What I liked about this episode is even though you had two plots happening they both had the same outcome in terms of what they wanted to achieve which I enjoyed overall then.
My favourite of the two was Harry's story and learning more about his life and second family. Dum, dum, dum. Harry you sly dog there which plot development-wise and character drove wise Leo never got in the original series which the writers here are taking in the right direction not just having Harry there but fleshing him out too.
I hope he and Macy don't get together but by the admission Harry spoke of at the end that could very well happen and if so then I'd want that to be different than Piper and Leo's relationship with Harry being treated equally all the time, it not getting in the way if their magical duties, and Macy not whining on dates how magic gets on the way of what she and Harry have obviously.
A solid episode otherwise then.

I've personally been disappointed with the reboot as of late. Yes I'm still watching through it, and while I like the Harry/Macy storyline there's been a persistent problem with Season 2 so far they keep emphasizing the romance over the sisterhood and magic. At least in OG Charmed Piper, Phoebe and Prue felt like sisters before the former turned for the worse. In this reboot I''m barely convinced they are sisters at all and whenever something serious happens with Macy plot wise Mel and Maggie barely seem like they care or have their own stories so they don't feel connected in a way.
I'm on board for Macy and Harry personally and I feel like they can improve over Piper and Leo's relationship from Seasons 5-8. While I am happy that Macy and Harry are becoming a thing, I'm still disappointed that this show is still emphasizing the love interests over the actual plot and sisterhood. The OG show lacked interesting romances as well aside from a select few. Paige's main love interests like Richard and Henry, Piper and Leo Pre-Season 5 (I think their romance turned for the worst in Seasons 5-8, especially Season 7) Phoebe's love interests besides Cole sucked though, I just hated her when she was around him. But Cole had an established character. The Neighbor Dan arc sucked in Season 2, but that was because Dan as a character sucked and the obvious twist was Piper choosing Leo, but Piper had enough of a character and sister development to have a romance option even if the execution was lacking.
In the reboot there hasn't been enough establishments in the characters yet to make romance a dominate plot focus. We barely know anything about them other than Macy who I also feel gets focused on a bit to much at the expense of Mel and Maggie who always seem to be off doing their own thing and little to do with Macy unless the plot calls for them to be together. Last season the entire plot of second half was Macy and her demon side, this season she's the only one with powers. actively doing things and has the focus of her and Harry. Don't get me wrong Macy is my favorite reboot sister, but I do feel she gets the focus and is most proactive during plots.
Macy and Harry are the best characters on the show and easily have the best elements/stories written for them. Even Maggie's Foresight power happened because of a love interest. (Which I also feel is shamelessly Phoebe's power slightly altered and done because of a love vision, reminded me of Phoebe's premonition of Dex) And Maggie seems to have it the worst when it comes to romance plots, which I feel Phoebe eventually suffered from in OG. Her character revolves too much around love interests and less on her as a character.
I like some of the supernatural elements this season like the CDI creature from last episode, giving actual background to Whitelighters/Darklighters and Mel's overfocus on potion making, but the romances dominating it just takes away from that and the show feels like its heading to square one again. I also find Jordan to be just as uninteresting as Galvin was in the beginning.
Don't get me wrong, I liked this episode and want to see more. But so far the season isn't doing what it promised to do, it's just doing more of the same. I just want more sisterhood and supernatural elements, but they seem to either be connecting love interests together or downsized to focus on romance plots.

The Harry and Macy plots were the best and it is building well. Macy and Datklighter Harry.
And although the season was off to strong start. I feel like were slowly going back a few steps. The romantic plots are starting to take over again with Mel and Maggie. And again they are dividing the sisters. In the reboot we don't have enough development in the characters yet to start having romance a dominate focus. Like outside of Macy. I feel like Mel and Maggie are off doing their own thing unless the story needs them to be. It is very much central to Harry and Macy. And Abigail is starting to feel like she's turning into Cole or Chris getting toi much spotlight. The sisters don't have their powers back.
Jordan feels like he's just another Galvin. I hope he isn't just and just our Dan and filler until Parker returns. We all know he's coming back with how much story Abigail has as a series regular already.
It feels like outside of the Harry and Macy stories. We're still getting the same old business that we had in S1. Once Parker comes back. I'm dreading it's back to Cain focus with him and Abigail getting focus.
But apart from stuff I dislike this seaso nwith my fears. Macy and Darklighter Harry story is the one I'm liking and curious to see where it goes.

I do agree with the romance taking over the whole plot part and would like to see more sisterly moments between Mel, Macy, and Maggie.
I think Abigael's been too central also but compared to what season one was like I have enjoyed season 2 a bit more at the moment and do hope the sisters get their powers back soon in a reduced capacity so they're not as powerful as they were the previous year until they're stronger witches.

Yeah this season started off great but now it's kinda going downhill for me. I feel like I was the only one that didn't want Hacy to happen because I knew Hacy would get the most shine this season. Feels like we know more about Harry than we do about the sisters. And that shouldn't be the case since the show is about three sisters. Like I know Harry is important to the show but we shouldn't know more about him than we do about the 3 main characters that the show is about. I wish they would've waited with the romance storylines until their sisterhood and the individual sisters were developed more.
