The ghost plot this episode had Supernatural vibes in terms of how the spirit was portrayed with the cold air, low temperature, and breath seeing mixed with classic Charmed season 2 'Pardon My Past' concerning Jordan's family curse plus a similar plot to the '80s horror film 'The Fog' but on a smaller scale in terms of victim and setting.
Could the writers have been inspired by those perhaps?
The Macy/Abbey/Harry sub-story I didn't care much for but Macy does need to tell Harry how she feels about him if she loves him that is.
Maggie was good here surprisingly from calling the ghost out saying it wasn't Jordan or any of his past relative's fault what his ancestor did who should've been the only one punished.
So the Safe Space building was and is still a safe place for witches to go then? Were covens like the ghosts sisterhood formed there maybe? Be interesting to hear one way or otherwise.
I liked Mel and Ray's sub trip to Las Vegas another setting used beside Seattle which was nice.
Ray knew Mel and Maggie weren't full blood sisters and his leaving because Marisol fell in love with someone else reminded me of Sam, Victor, and Patty's triangle.
Him leaving again was probably the best thing the people after him although he might come back I think.
What exactly can Black Amber do as well as resurrect animals or people which I'd like to know also?
Whatever the scales of justice are that Jordan must reset to completely break his curse I hope isn't too bad but knowing the girls secret now which I understood why he didn't freak out on will help Jordan out not having him do that alone then.

I kept thinking about "A Witch in Time" from OG Charmed in this episode. Macy is just a pleasure to watch - she's fantastic. I also like the history behind SafeSpace, hoping we hear more about that. I like the Power of 3 being needed toward the end of the episode. This week and last seem have seemed like more stand-alone episodes; I hope we get back to this demon-witch war, overlord, story arc. But I guess that is what Feb. sweeps are for.

I have to be honest guys I think the reboot has gotten really derailed and imo its worse than OG Charmed. I still think the first 4 seasons were better at structuring their plot and had more entertainment. Even season 1 was better. A large chuck has to do with the fact the sisters are so separated now, it's been like that since season 1. But in Season 2 it feels especially more noticeable, they don't feel like sisters anymore. There's no more Book of Shadows, barely any magic, no potion making what is even Charmed about this reboot anymore? Heck the girls barely saved innocents, at least the OG sisters saved people before it became about themselves.
The thing that's dragging this season down the most is the Love Triangle (or square in this case) with Macy/Harry/Dark Harry and Abigail. Macy and Harry were the show's two best characters, as well as the ones who had the most focus and best plots. Now I don't like either of them.
That's been the biggest problem of the reboot since Season 1 these girls barely feel like sisters 95% of the time. Yes they have "moments" where they might share thoughts or experiences, but that's all they've been just moments. This has to do with how unfocused the show itself is, it can never make up its mind
Season 2 has only highlighted this complaint even further to the point where you can literally just have these girls as three witches who just happen to know one another, because most of the time none of them seem to care about what happens in the other's plot unless specifically demanded by the script.
In Season 2, Macy in particular has been so focused on Harry and getting jealous of Abigail (which has really gotten annoying by the way, especially in the latest episode) that her interacts with her sisters are either second fiddle or when she shows up they barely are in the same room for more than a few seconds before instantly going back to her subplots with Harry or to just finish the climax.
What makes this changed baffling is that in Season 1 part of Macy's character arc was feeling like an outsider and wanted her sisters to know her more. Yet in this season it never seems like any of the sisters really care about one another, just their love interests or own separate plots. I believe there was even a plot in Season 2 where Mel and Maggie barely knew anything about Macy..
On top of that I have a problem with how their romantic plots get in the way of either the plot itself or their character development. Maggie is constantly wishy-washy about her feelings for Parker, going from loving him one moment then detesting him because she hates the fact he's part demon. In Season 2 any time Parker's not around they have this "I like him, but don't really like him" interaction with Maggie and Jordan, making Maggie seem indecisive.
She claims Jordan is a "friend" but every time Maggie's around him she always has romantic tension with him, and completely forgets Parker exists, despite the fact she was in love with the guy enough to almost marry him. She think's he died in front of her, yet the next episode doesn't even bother to think it over just to focus on her and Jordan being "friends" but "not really" friends. Also Jordan has a girlfriend, does the show just forget she exists?
With Mel her romances are so stale they literally exist for no reason other than to emphasize the fact she's lesbian. And the Macy/Harry stuff has dragged out for far too long that it's ruining both of their characters. Macy is coming off as passive-aggressive and refusing to admit her feelings, while Harry is coming off as an idiot or too trusting of Abigail or treating Macy like crap.
Is it bad I now dislike this more than the love triangle in OG Charmed?)
At least there it was still in Season 2 back when the show was fun and had some heart behind it and you could actually root for the sisters to some extent. It was also the season where they started adding more magic stuff, like potions and spells.
Meanwhile Abigail feels like a tool just to cause a rift between the two, (especially more obvious in recent episodes) it makes me dislike Abigail more because she's becoming less of a character and more of a tool, and I already found her annoying to begin with.
Another thing I dislike is how the girls barely focus on saving innocents or the girls being three witches anymore. where's the fun or camp of the girls helping other people? It seems the only saving they've done have been when their love interests are involved. (minus a couple of exceptions)
Season 1 may have been unfocused, but it was admittedly more fun and had some decent ideas behind them that I liked it despite its faults. Season 2 feels completely different. Other than things like meeting their father (who I do like) everything else is either brushed over or not given proper focus.

In terms of season 2 so far I do have to agree with some of your comments codebox.
If there was no love triangle and the sisters were more involved with one another, no Parker or Abigael existed and the Book Of Shadows was still there although I did like the way they went back to basics and not overloaded Mel, Macy, and Maggie like last year then I would enjoy this season more obviously.
